wide midfielders taking a massive hit to their ovr when going to a wing position doesn't make that much sense, sané going from an 84 to a 67 on the wing is absurd
Yea that really sucks and they are making a lot of natural wingers RM or LM and then making u rank them to get to their more natural position… and the actual stat number don’t change .. but taking David Neres, say .. 85RM? Then putting in RW and drops to 68 ?? And if you see in level 3 rank he can then play RW or CAM, the ovr goes from 85 to 60something … nuts He does play attacking RM but more often than not he’s on the wings left or Rt.
But how does the OVR drop affect stats? For example my LW Rivaldo lvl 25, one of his alt positions is RW. When I put him there he drops from 94 OVR to 93 but how does that effect stats? Does it not affect it? Or does he lose 1 OVR worth of boost? I don't get it
Do player stats even matter in this game? I can have a 92 pace player with 90 dribbling but get beaten by a player who I know has lower stats. It just doesn't make any sense to me how a weak defender can beat a high rated player. Furthermore, how does a player with insane passing stats miss 70% of passes every time lol
