The central theme of the conference was "Come Up Higher" which communicated to all that it can no more be business as usual on matters of faith. The opening welcome service featured a spectacular children and teen groups ensemble - thousands singing joyfully in a special worship opening presentation. The General Overseer Pastor E.A. Adeboye spoke at the first Plenary on the topic "Out of the Miry Clay" (embedded below). To come out of the miry clay is first to emerge out of sin - the enemy within and insulator against answered prayers - that leads all its victims into the quick sand
