In this iconic 1966 Jagger/Richards song, we've taken inspiration from Chris Farlowe's UK number 1 hit, as well as from the Rolling Stones' original on the Aftermath album. In our version we've moved the signature intro and solo to Nigel's acoustic bass, while Dave splits himself into three, delivering his lead vocal over an acoustic guitar and foot percussion part. Our own style of vocal harmonies complete the picture. Take some time to have a listen to the amazing sound of the tiny digital foot-bass-in-a-box under Dave's right foot, combined with the vintage vibe of the self-build pedal tambourine.

Groovy is definitely what we went for here. When we gave Under My Thumb from the same Aftermath album our acoustic treatment, it also proved to be popular with many of our viewers. We always aim to sound like ourselves, performing our interpretation of these great songs on acoustic instruments, rather than trying to be a copy of the original. Having said that, we appreciate your comment on letting go, which is much easier to do when playing to a responsive live audience than it is performing to an empty room. Well my 2 cents. You can't kill a good song and I enjoyed it...BUT !!!!!.....I agree this is an angry aggressive message to the girl that screwed up. Elevator mood doesn't deliver as it was meant. In that, you did it well but I'd be downing my steak with this in the background instead of grabbing my emotional attention...know what I mean? But if you have an appreciative audience...G'bless, another flavor.

We've been busy with a Christmas recording and gig in December and have dedicated the time immediately after that to setting up the technical side of live streaming, with a view to performing on one of the platforms. Hi Kundan, thanks for subscribing and thanks for the compliment! The original bass part is indeed another one of Bill Wyman's masterpieces. His bass doesn't come in until the chorus, but in our arrangement the bass also plays the Brian Jones marimba part in the verses and the intro. We've arranged Under My Thumb and Sunny Afternoon in a similar way, where the bass plays the theme as well as providing the foundation, if you fancy having a listen.

Hi Tom, so glad you enjoyed it! I don't have bass tabs or any other form of notation for any of the parts that I play. I do however spend a considerable amount of time experimenting and arranging before I get what I'm looking for. After that they kind of flow out of my head consistently as if they were written down. It is an interesting question though, and one that I'm getting more and more, so I'll give some thought to how I can share with you which I'm happy to do - Nigel
