Well I think that's a great idea making it a year around kitchen. You could put French doors or Glass Doors or even better a garage door so you can use it when you have friends and family visiting and you will be able to access it while your living in the solar Pump house.
HEY Dave. You could always do what I did when we lived up in Wisconsin. We had a metal shed and it was the dead of winter and I wanted BBQ. So I took my grill into the shed and bbq'ed in the shed when there was 3 feet of snow on the ground
I like the idea of closing in the kitchen so you can use all year round. I mean you need a kitchen. Right? Put in a sliding door and pour another pad for grilling out.❤❤ Can't wait to see the goats shelter. Love Domino, especially when hos tail is wagging😊❤
I think using some Polycarbonate Roof Panel as your walls. Have 2 sliding barn doors at your corner using the same product. Then your still keeping all the natural light coming through. Love the new goat house. Turned out pretty dang well. Later down the road you can turn it into a mini greenhouse. God Bless and until the next video C'mon with the C'mon ❤
Hanging with the "kids" is my favorite part of the day. I lost one of them last month I am down to two from four. I want to get another bigger dog eventually, but not until my Jack's are gone. Then I will be back to a one dog person again. I picked up the three Jack Russels in my last marriage. She brought those dogs into the marriage and left them here when she left. I had my dog Moe he was a Lab Shepard mix. He passed in Dec of 2021 at the age of 15 1/2. I feel like Tim today. I'm giving you my version of Rambling's. Have a great day, take care and God Bless ya Brother!!!❤😊

Hello brother come on the work you've done on that little tiny house is awesome don't let nobody tell you any different I mean they're going to have their opinions they can either like it or just let it go and just be nice about it
I woudl make the outdoor kitchen into a permanent kitchen, close in the sides and make it a whole tiny house....you already have the floor poured....you could do it easy.
My uncle built walls for his outdoor kitchen that he could put up ot take down relatively easy. The roof of it was permanent, but the walls were removable. I like your idea, kinda like a sun room/kitchen in winter.
Hey Dave, just a suggestion about walls in your year round kitchen. I made some swing out walls on an outbuilding which hinged below the eaves. These were panels that were insulated and locked down for summer storms. I used garage door seals to block drafts and waterproof the edges when shut. When opened these locked on posts so became roof like. A bit of work but it was a reasonable idea. To bug proof you could install roll down bug screens. Keep up your good work and take care.
I’d screen in the kitchen and add tin or plywood, that raises to make a canopy when weather permits 🤷🏽♀️ . Shouldn’t need insulated walls, heat from cooking will keep it warm enough. Just hinges at the top and a simple locking mechanism at the bottom with 2x4 legs hinged to the wall, so you can drop them when you want a canopy instead of a wall. Make a screen door for exit to the canopies and you’ll be cooking with grease 😏‼️
It does make sense to make the outdoor kitchen more than a seasonal room. I’m sure other Homestead that you have visited had some outdoor kitchens that you could bounce ideas off of that last one you went to where you got the electrical poles from he had an amazing outdoor kitchen, but it was not enclosed like what you were thinking of, but it was gorgeous.
Could the outdoor kitchen be a screened-in area with a tin roof? I don't know if it would be usable 12mth a year but maybe 3 seasons. It would be less buggy too when your cooking! 😊😊
Hey, Dave, the word of the day; indoor kitchen, this is what I thought of since she moved into the tiny home it would give you a lot more space make it much more functional and you could always add an additional outdoor kitchen at a later date, coming up on winter you will need the extra square footage to make life more comfortable and give you a place to cook and enjoy your life on the mountain, I love you brother just trying to help. I hope this is a Direction you were headed. God bless have a great day your buddy Roger.
HELLO DAVID😊 LOVE THE WALK WITH RIDER, MIDNIGHT AND DOMINO 😊 MALE CATS 🐈⬛ ARE SO MUCH MORE LOVING❤ LIKE YOUR IDEA OF ENCLOSED KITCHEN👍 CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU COME UP WITH😊 GOD BLESS💖 HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY. CONNIE SUE FROM KANSAS👩🏻🦳🐈⬛🐈⬛🐶💖😘
have you thought about putting your goats on a lead and stake them out at different areas of your yard to eat your grass? that's what we would do with the horse...every morning stake them out and put them back in the pen at night.
Why not get a manual lawn mower? ( push mover with the rotating blades) we had one as a kids.. it worked fine for years on out yard. Also a scythe works well in cutting down long grassy areas with just manual labor. A couple good sharpening or grinding stones and you'll be set for years and no motor breakdowns or fuel.
Look forward to seeing the goat shelter. Does Eclipse sleep outside with the goats now that you are sleeping in the tiny house? Ryder, Midnight and Domino seem to be getting on okay, it’s lovely to see. Take care, be safe. ❤ Dorset, UK
Yes it would be perfect for a kitchen. I bet the goats are in hog heaven with leaves and shrubbery to eat. He probably had to potty, he's a little shy.
