Good question. You can't turn it around once fitted (ie manually choose it's starting position) What you can do though is set Home View in Unifi Protect. This will allow you to set the vertical and horizontal location you want it to return to each time. Hi, thanx for the answer. I was talking about turning it sideways before fitting it, but it seems the lens only moves up down and twists… not left / right ?

You can spin the main base about 90 degreed and the same with the camera, so you could mount it sideways on a wall if that is what you wanted.

@@The_Tech_Geeks Haha, English is my second language , so maby I don’t know the exact terms… If I mount it on a wall, the camera looks straight ahead, and you kan look up and down, 90degrees from the Wall? But kan I turn it to look left / right so it can see along one of the walls….

Good question. You can't turn it in the software as it does not have a built in motor for panning, but you can turn the entire base around, physically, so that when you move the camera up and down it actually allows you to look down the wall.

It is an interesting approach, but just the same as many of the other vendors out there, or maybe it is a ploy to sell junction boxes :D
