Whats funny is viper was completely clueless during this game and had all other players as colour red and wasn’t able to switch to unique colours, so couldn’t tell anyone apart. He got a good spawn and was living the best life.

I think placing REALLY needs to be fixed in the King game, along with resources on the map. Did you see the amount of gold and stone west and east were sitting on verse everyone else? Just wall up, mine, conquer.
Question? Is faye getting a prelate after tc completion and viper not getting the prelate but getting the 100 gold a bug? Or is it a choice or something? Or faye trained a scout and a prelate instantly? I assumed you get scouts at tc completion.
I think the players should of learned by now that spawning close to someone is a death sentence. You're delayed more than you would be just moving to a much better spot. Sure you'll be behind but you focus on defense not offense. Build 20 outposts and walls not attack units. Make yourself not worth the fight. Be away from others as much as possible like find a corner not taken. Just keep turtling, building keeps and eventually archers for the walls. Don't go hunting with them and losing them. And triple or quadruple the walls if base is right in corner and packed good. 3 TCs next to each other and 90 farms and 40 traders even on a short distance. After all that then build 150 knights, killing off 10 vils as needed. Leave 18 vils farming, 7 vils mining, 25 archers on walls. And move out with the knights get a kill and make some rams and more knights. Anyways, just my thoughts.
@@SonicBoom474 No, it introduces more variables, which is a form of balance. One player can get the advantage of water while, other player can get the advantage of a corner.
These maps are not good because they are too dependent on a player getting a corner position without the level of randomization that would help even things out. If this was a mega random map style, there would be more possible advantages, such as lakes or forests that wouldn't make players so dependent on spawning in a corner.
I think she was just unlucky, that gold spawn isn't all too easy to spawn, she managed to keep viper back and survived until the last 3. Also, like that relic bug was super annoying. If it weren't for that bug she'd totally have had a bunch more gold.
@@brokensky2378 she wasn't making vills, had the lowest pop the whole games. Had gold she didn't mine and didn't hold off viper he got rushed, all she did was spam halbs.
I feel like surviving to the end should reward at least *1* point. The same amount as killing a player outside of feudal. That seems fair and like it would reward defenses like Fayes here without making it something to *strive* for
hey drongo - i noticed you were trying to improve the first 30 seconds of videos. just saying, maybe keep it more interesting than just saying peoples names, maybe talk about your top 3 picks for winning and why you think they would win (map placement, civ choice, etc) ps i am a livelong mouth breather as well
The same map again and again last season outback octagon was best all players already knows what they will get in the map so it's not fun to watch anymore as these guys already know the map.
