@@-HUBBABUBBA-oil fires spread on water too. It didn’t spread tho, that means it’s either not an oil fire, or our buddy here was right about him missing the fire with the water. Either way, ur wrong lmfaooo
@@xRipeh If it has a motor....it needs a fire extinguisher. Less that 26 feet only requires 1- 5lbs extinguisher. If he didn't have the outboard on it, then no he wouldn't have to have an extinguisher.
As I absolutely agree with you, i would like to know how many other scenarios youd need a fire extinguisher other than to put out a fire😂 id argue that thats its only purpose 😂

I'm on my daughter's RU-vid. Putting the cover on it won't work because the cover allows air into it so the engine can breathe/run. It looks like to me that he can't reach the rear of the engine and keeps pouring water onto the flywheel causing the water to waterfall past the fire. From where the guy is standing the steering wheel should've been turned all the way to the left so the rear of the engine would be a lot closer to him so he could avoid hitting the flywheel and be able to douse the fire.
Ha, reminds me of the time I lost my lackish over the side of the ol' praynoo. But you know what they say, can't expect a rue to weight anything at all.

Had this argument the other day. Apparently being forced to have an extinguisher onboard is "gross government overreach". I find it amazing that people don't know that there are different types of fires.
Lol the flat top just sends the water over the edge of the motor. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Throw it through the side of where the flames are shooting out from to distinguish the fire. You can throw it on top afterwards for good measure 😊
Had this exact fire happened to me in a bay 🥴. Fire extinguisher saved us. Washed a bit to shore before dropping anchor, 25ft 5-7ft waves. Seatow to the recuse.
"So anyways, I tell the guy that we're floating in a fire extinguisher when hes doing his inspection" Proceeds to try and put out an oil fire with water.
all you had to do was wrap your shirt around it, fire usually starts in the fuel tank where there shouldn’t be oxygen. if you suffocate it of oxygen it’ll die out fast.
i love how hes not even dumping the water where the fire is. judging by how tall the grass is in the bottom of the boat. it lasted longer than i expected it to.
