Survival instinct would be to gather people and make fortified safe places. Plant and grow things, dig wells. Running around like a band of transients isnt :)

The moment I see 15 year olds as the main characters in a zombie film my expectations go to zero. This, actually wasn't that bad though, considering the age of the crew here means they don't have years of experience. I'd say this is actually a very good start. Keep it up, keep learning...ALWAYS be learning, and I bet you guys can produce some really solid stuff in the future.

Thank you, we all really appreciate the feedback this was just something fun we made and we don't view it as a masterpiece (obviously) but it is just the start of our films, so thank you alot for the feedback.

Suspension of disbelief in zombie movies goes out the window when actors find a functional cellphone an indefinite period of time ( days, weeks, or months) after a zombie outbreak. Who sells phones with that kind of battery life? I want to buy one!

In Haiti, where there is no reliable network, local artisans can repair an i-phone of for a trifle and equip for solar pannel charging.

@@MrMirville Ingenious. I wired a 12volt car battery charger solar cell panel together with a plugin car charger for my cell phone. Works but kinda slow. It's part of my emergency kit. On the upside, l don't have to cpen the phone. Doing any non manufacturer repairs is getting harder with each new model. Particularly with Apple products.

An ambitious project with commendable results. One detail I found a bit jarring though, were all the fresh haircuts on the lead actors. They didn’t look like they had been wandering the wastelands for 2 plus months. Otherwise, well done.

I dunno. I think they did good for a bunch of youngins on prolly no budget and spared us the usual Mad Maxx/gas mask BS. Damn, man.. Waddaya expect? Prolly had a grande time makin a mess of the house for that scene and some moms/aunts got in on the action. Only thing I'd bitch about is the usual lack of audio leveling with these amateur shorts. The ending was "abrupt", but still better than an outro that lasts 20% of the complete movie time and includes every cousins/sisters/brothers/nephews twice removed.. And their pets.. 🙄 Keep at it, boyz.. d:^)

Not wanting to be overly critical for what otherwise is a great first production, but WTH here goes: at 7:00 isn't there a highway in the distance with cars on it driving by? And right at the beginning they walk past a tripod and other materials without investigating them, yet get interested in a lone bag a minute later. At 8:00 they strangely waste bullets on another zombie instead of using the bat. Overall the three main characters come across as clean-cut privileged rich kids that somehow have no dirt on their clothes and have fresh haircuts after months of walking. The characters need to be more believable and normal. You need to work on maintaining consistent audio levels, with some sequences having almost inaudible/muffled dialogue. It's got to be believable guys. There's no way they wouldn't block the doors in that house. The artistic cinematography is really nice throughout the video. Good job.
