@Oliver Scott sadly it took me about 20+(I'm underestimating) times to finally beat that bastard.... I'd get so damn mad 😡 when I'd get killed before 1 ball got destroyed and then you got people that speed run the damn thing. They have a fraction of the perks, equipment, ect... and beat the boss in under 2mins. But I did finally beat it... Just takes time buddy.
The game kinda pushes you to do it, I think. When you start getting the keys you know that the closest is in B reactor. Once it is done you need to go to reactor D and go by the mimics in the center.
Me: *spends hours upgrading everything only to lose 3 times* Steve: *beats EE half the time my lunch break is and does it with starting weapon* Me: ok maybe I just suck
@@christophertapia744 I know the pain. I beat the Easter egg 2 weeks ago. I ran a fully packed legendary M16 and double packed rai-k84 with aether shroud. Honestly the best advice I can give is to not panic, don't get cocky and keep moving. I learned all these lessons the hard way
@@michaelhernandez292 if you look at the outbreak rules, you can skip from 1 right to 3 with a very easy Easter egg in order to make the run faster. This is definitely a record.

I'm trying to beat it solo but It's so hard now. rocket launchers are almost useless for what I've heard, and raygun spawns more minibosses which makes me struggle. I can almost kill it with just raygun except for ammo issues, but then I die to it at 5 minutes.
Why do you believe “Ray gun spawns more mini bosses”? Do you also think that having molotovs equipped doubles the bosses HP? How about using a variable zoom optic makes all of the orbs get one-shot? Do y’all just make shit up for fun or what
I love the moment where you hop on the bike in round 3 and then remember there’s a red teleporter in the cabin. You can physically see and “Aha!” moment. Seriously tho I have been binging this video daily to cut down my time and learn new strategies on how to solo this. I’ve gotten to the last orb, but at least now it only takes me an hour or less and not 3+
@@prime341 stop lying. If you don’t know what you’re talking about just keep your mouth shut. You can skip a round if you shoot the beacon as you’re warping.
You know what, watching you speed run is the most frustrating but awesome thing to watch. Stuff I have a struggle beyond belief with and then you watch IISteveII and part of me is like “you dirty son of a” then the other part of me is like “damn it man, this cat is a god amongst mortals at speed runs.”. And in the end I’m like “I quit and am going back to being a chubby Chippendale!” But I’ll still watch every one you do even though I’m cussin’ and praisin’ you in the same breath!

Haha this one seriously made me laugh at how slow this was, you know...slow like the expansion of particles during the Big Bang. Haha, jesus man, what a run! Always fun watching your runs (I mean game runs not the gross stinky runs...ew). Ok, anyways, moving on. Well you taught me a few things during this. 1. When listening to Maxis ramble on and on (kinda like me) when you use the projector, that I don't have to sit there and go through the damn slides. Thinking to myself "yes! Now I can shorten my personal speed runs down to 5hr & 32min instead of the slow 5hr 32min & 22 seconds that I'm used to! Sweet!" 2. This one made me really laugh. Just after you finish collecting crystals and just after getting the monkey key, how you ran through that bottom area (same place that starts the animation when you're talking to Reznov (spelling?) and begin process for getting the keys) that connects the chambers/silos. Yeah, I had absolutely ZERO freaking idea that you could do that, so every time I needed to switch between silos A, B & D I would have to run up and down the stairs. Which happens a lot because I still don't have them memorized. And the game won't let me take the zip lines without downing me, black screen, ending the entire run (remember when I told you that my attempts are about 5 1/2 hours, yeah that's happened 5 times out my 8 attempts, yeah ouchhh is right). Bottom line, you have now shaved even more time off my personal slow runs....eh emmm, personal speed runs down to 5hrs. & 20min. "Oooo I feel myself catching up to you already!" (Self thought & clearly sarcasm). 3. Doing the crystals before the mimic part so you can wipe him out instantly! But I'm too chicken to try at this moment in time, so the world might just have to deal with your awful, terrible and slow runs for the time being (you remembered how I defined the word "slow" at the beginning of this comment story, right?) God you are slowwww, haha. And lastly, well not really, there is more but I'm sure everyone is hating me right now for writing you a book on here. #4. And it's not something that you necessarily taught me, just something I wanted to share and that is a huge thank you for your videos, all of your effort, dedication, time spent, patience, hard work, tenacity, hold on I'm almost don't reading compliments from a list on Google (joking, I actually mean them), your experience, willingness to share it with the world and lastly for being such a good sport for reading through all of this while having an open mind and a light heart. Thank you for replying to the last comment I posted on one of your videos (actually was my first and only comment/compliment at the time). Did my first ever run and got to the boss battle. I had a pap 3 m16 and it wouldn’t even break its armor, I put 2 mags into it. Luckily I had a gallo and I used it to destroy to orbs then I found out it can insta kill and it was all down hill from there. I could have beaten it but I should have watched a video on what attacks the tempest had. It’s literally my last Easter egg I need but if you want a good setup it takes so long.
How did he skip from 1 to 3? I'm so confused. Legit question cause I've been wanting to do the egg, but getting headshot bugs on 2 screw me almost every time.
All you have to do is when you activate the warp you simply shoot the teleporter before you make the jump or I could be wrong but I think I've done it that way before
Amazing speedrun inspired me and my friends with the hauer and i always used m16 before now i tried it solo and used hauer for orbs instead worked perfectly
I keep getting absolutely demolished on round 3 during my speed run attempts. I always get like 8 tempest spawns so that definitely slows me down when I feel like I can’t kill anything, I don’t know how you do it. You make it look so easy 😂
make sure u try get hold of some free armor by then and remember the bow or deathmachine is best if tempests are destroying u haha i do try not to let tempests see me as much as i can they are annoying
@@IlSteveIl Yeah it’s tough trying to not get hit when you get held down by 3 tempest blasts lol. Good point, I always forget to search a chest or two. I noticed it helps using a vehicle and rarely putting yourself in a position to actually get hit. Thanks for the response.
