@@Moondog9322 I prefer the wyandotte boat launch just for the sole reason it's not in Detroit, not to say something wouldn't happen. Just less riff raff I think. Or you could launch at the mouth of the river at Erie at the lake Erie metropark.
Just drove three and a half hours on Captain Gary's word by The dip net was the hotspot to get all of our fishing needs come to find out they closed until March 1st also. Boat ramps are closed
I also live that far from Detroit. Yes, absolutely, Dipnet is absolute best. With that said, and as I mentioned in my last episode, I wouldn’t be back until Spring. The river gets very nasty this late in the year. The cycle is normally mud and then ice. I hope to see you in April, you’ll be glad you made the trip !
@@outdooraddictionwithcaptai1188 u said come on in for all your Detroit river fishing needs. The bit is hot.. with over 20 prostaffers out of dip net.. and no u didn't mention anything about them closing for winter.. thank though for your false fishing report .
@@outdooraddictionwithcaptai1188 and a week later all bait shops are closed lololol.. also boat ramps .. luckily I kno the area and found a ramp that's open..
I don't know, one man, woman, hell, even an adolescent teenager, that would even question, of not calling ahead if you're going to drive "3-1/2 HOURS" somewhere, anywhere ESPECIALLY a little bait shop. You have got to be one of the biggest fools I've ever read a comment from. NOT calling ahead of time?!!! That's ALL on YOUR shoulders, no one else's. [no if's, ands, or but's, about it] 🙄🙄🤣
