Rosemary, your DIY’s have really brought your deck to life! It’s absolutely beautiful!!! I really enjoyed how you used the metal flowers from Dollar Tree n painted them in such a gorgeous red for that added pop of color❣️🤩❤️🤩 I totally enjoyed your make over n flips. Thank you SO very much for sharing!!! And before I forget #2 please‼️ I love seeing repairs n builds. Hope you get some amazing decking!😊
Hi charmaine! Thanks! so glad you liked the deck makeover especially the metal flowers. I was really surprised at how they came out and actually like them better than the Dollar General ones I was trying to find! And yes, that would be so fun if maybe contractor with a youtube channel wants to do a collab! 😊❤️
Rosemary, your creative mind provided amazing content, as always! I was particularly staggered by the staghead plaques! Actual stag heads and antlers seem morbid, but when they're made out of greenery, they're stylish. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your deck looks amazing. I loved everything! Would be great to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning. Beautiful. Thanks for this video - I'm feeling inspired...
OMG! Yes! I knew there was something off about them! That's it! I was just like, they don't look right, let's change them around. Now I know why! I don't want to be trying to relax and subliminally reminded of traffic on the interstate!! 😁❤️
I just loved this deck make over video! You are an amazing entertainer. If I ever move from NY I would love to live close to you. Thank you for all for all your ideas. 🐸
2. New subscriber here. Love the makeover and love your sense of humour. Right, I'm off to check out those pottery barn hacks now. Oh btw, watching from Ireland. Apparently our summer is happening tomorrow and the next day - and maybe Saturday too. Wahooo! Fed up of this rain.
Hi Rosemary, It's a chilly day in Northern Virginia and it has rained 3 Saturdays in a row. My leg is quite bad today achy from the rain and I was standing most of the day at work on Friday. I do not have a deck or patio but I looked at a precious little house to buy that had a beautiful patio. The cement was stained bad but I think Clorox would get it up and there was not any bushes or flowers in the dirt flower beds. But forever I have been eating a veggie garden. And there I can have 2 nice flower beds to plant bulbs and one nice veggie garden. There are French doors to go out to the patio and it has a white high picket fence. It's a tad out of my price range and I do not want to put tons down because it needs a new washer and dryer and furnace. I am so happy whenever I see your videos as you always give me ideas and inspire me. When my Mom passed away she left her bedroom set to me and her living room set. Her couch was newly reupholstered and cones with throw pillows that were redone to match and I have never thought about getting pillows covers for the pillows something diff for this spring and summer. I can easily make them but between the fabric and the thread they might be more than what time Amazon ones were for the set. This simple idea has really excited me now. I am hoping to have a surprise party for my Dad in June. I will measure the pillows later this evening. As soon as I saw your $5 table within seconds I thought, "hey, I wonder if Dollar Tree's square planter would fit in there. If it did, how about ice and wax paper on top with slices of watermelon, grapes, oranges etc. Or a metal liner with one of those lighting fluid flame cans where it has a low flame and you can roast marshmallows over it. It's 10:20 pm and I have been up since 5:30am. I hope you have a wonderful evening and weekend. Love, Rebekah
Hi Rebeka! Sorry to hear your leg is hurting in the rainy weather.☹️ The little house sounds wonderful! If the bleach doesn't work, porch paint may be a solution. I painted the cement porch at my last house and it came up beautifully and lasted too! So glad you got some inspo from the pillow covers! I love that option especially in prep for a fun occassion like a surprise party for your Dad! Love the fresh fruit idea for the Restore table! And yes, I think it can work as a fire pit and thin that is what the original person who cut the table to begin with probably did with it! You have a wonderful weekend too!
Hi MBMC! Thanks! So glad you like the outdoor thrift flips! And yes, fake plants 👍👍👍👍Even though, I'm sure they will be terribly faded by September! But the thrifted and Amazon clearance plants cost way less than the fresh especially now. And I don't have "harvest" condensation from you air conditioner (because of drought) and schlep it upstairs to water (sometimes 2x a day during extreme heat of summer) only for them to all freeze to death in an unexpected flash freeze a few months later!!
Hey beautiful talented lady 🦋 I have to transform a metal something to paint so I can add water to it inside my kitchen area but I have to clean and paint it 😊 beautiful flowers I do fake to 😅omg I love that yellow ones 😊 looks amazing and beautiful. Wow you are amazing looks so beautiful 😊all my favorite 😍 have a wonderful weekend 💗🦋💜🌈💙
You done good kid! My. Front porch needs to be painted, I don’t know what color. I have a big side patio that is really a carport that’s been converted. There used to be a great thrift shop in Winchester that was for the beneof ASPCA. I got a rattan settee for $10.00. Overtime we moved a coffee table, a double rocker my sister left here, a wrought iron table and chairs the upright freezer. My plants and I sit out there and watch cars go up and down the road and my cat meander around.
Hi Miss Mary! Thanks! So glad you liked the deck thrift flip! I think I'm going to paint my porch in the next video. It is also a converted carport! It is amazing what you can get at the thrifts especially the small, local ones. Goodwill and the like are more expensive than Kohls now! So glad you have a nice place to relax especially now as the weather is nice! 😊❤️
@@FABEDhacks on Sunday Goodwill has $1.00 shopping depending on the tag color. I’ve gotten a round dining room table and lots of scrapbook stuff. Things I can use in and around the house. My next project is to create a glass fountain using the $1.00 ugly bowl rejects and a solar fountain piece. My neighbor, the witch of the north, took up a lot of my time today so I will have to wait until next Sunday to see if GW has anything.
