Hi Dana Those faux plants look beautiful!!Yes the first one is outstanding! They are all pretty!! Can't wait to see the whole patio soon! !!!Love the idea of not watching flowers die and no money being wasted if live plants die! Have a great weekend!!!😁🦋🌹🐞🌻🐝🌼🌺🐞🏵🌹
I've been using faux florals and greenery for years. I get so many compliments from neighbors and people walking past. I have such a brown thumb yet the front of the house looks pretty and so alive🤗🤗🤗
Hi Dana, Youv'e given me some inspiration. for decorating my deck and planters at Camp. I have to ask people who are there all the time to water my plants and I feel like its imposing on people. And your right most times it's a chore to water them. I am in a camp ground where the owner doesn't want us to use the water coming from a hose as its a well and it is treated. So while I'll get a few annuals I am going to shop around for faux plants. That need no care really. I can't wait to see the rest of your patio. Great job and the one with the pink flowers is my Favorite as well.
I hear you. I get so tired of watering flowers, and then they dont look that great. Im no green thumb. I do have a faux fern on the front porch, last summer, and this summer, and I love it! Just couldn’t grow anything there. And I have 10 small boxwoods on the way up my front walk from QVC, but they dont look very real. They’re a little too dark of a green. Need to change it next summer. And my crafty friend made a faux plant with greenery, orange daisies, and some sm yellow flowers. Its on the back patio. I only made 2 real potted plants this year. Pink geraniums with white diamond frost. I went from making 5, down to 2.
Wow, Dana, I am new to gardening and would never have thought to incorporate faux florals but I am going to give it a try. They look so good! Thanks so much for sharing this great idea! Looks fabulous.
They’re so so beautiful! Excellent arranging. I love Boston ferns yet they’re not Colorado sun friendly. I went with faux this year and I just love them. What a great alternative. Happy Summer! 🌞
I love all the faux flowers, I didn’t know you could spray it, to give it that real look. Thank you for sharing now I feel I can use faux flowers as well as real.
Loved this video! This is the first year I’m adding faux along with my real flowers. I hear you on the watering. Towards the end of summer I am so over it! Lol. Most flowers take full sun so adding faux on my shaded patio is a great alternative. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Hello ``Decorate With Dana''! Thank you for showing us such a wonderful video! I feel so happy! I'm looking forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
Great video Dana as always. What happens to the artificial flowers and plants at the end of the Summer? Are they all faded and have to be thrown away or can you reuse them next Summer? Your home always looks Beautiful, no matter if it is inside or outside. That UV floral spray , sounds great! Have a great weekend.❤️
Hi Dana! Beautiful arrangements! I'm with you on not looking forward to watering! Ugh, after work that's the last thing I want to do. I've been disappointed on how some of my real flowers have been looking. I baby them enough, and for the cost of them, they all should do well! You use good soil, you fertilize, they are in the environment that they need....I just don't quite get it. This year I potted more perennial florals on my deck so I can repot into the yard at the end of Summer....hydrangeas, lavender, a fern, a clematis. With the cost of the real plants I'd rather use that money toward plants I can plant in our yard. We have some landscaping we just never finished along the back side of the house where our deck is so it will be an investment that will pay off. I had a perennial I bought last year and never took it out of the pot and just tossed the pot on the ground near the deck. it came back this year! I was amazed! The UV spray seems like a good idea....you will have to keep us posted! Have a good week, friend!
Hi Dana! I love those faux shrubs by the garage, I have been wanting to find some to put on my front porch. All of your faux arrangements turned out just beautiful and I didn’t know they made a UV protectant. To me the outdoor faux florals don’t look as good as the indoor type and they cost more too. Looking forward to the outdoor reveal! 😊❤😊🌼🌻🌸
I have had faux hanging plants and faux trees. For years,I receive so many compliments. My window boxes have faux flowers also. Haven't had to change in over 3 years. They look great!
Hi Dana! Love the way these all came together. I have started using more faux florals in my pots just because by mid July they are toast. At least you can enjoy all summer long and what a great find and idea to use the UV protectant. TFS! ♥
I agree! Sick of watering and removing dead flowers. But I live near Lake Michigan and it can get windy here. Any ideas to weigh these beautiful faux arrangements down so they don’t blow away? Thank you. Love your channel. 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had faux red tulips planted in my outdoor window box in the front of my house for 5 years. When I had my moving sale, the neighbor across the street came over and said all the neighbors always admired my tulips and wanted to know my secret to keeping them alive in the snowy winters and the harsh heat of summers. I leaned in and said “The secret? They’re fake”. She didn’t believe me so I went over and “picked” one. She almost died lol. I told her I would give them to her so I put them in a flower pot so she could carry them over and plant them at her house - I told her now it’s her secret. She was so happy.
The hydrangeas are geraniums. Love them all of the pots. I am going to do they same thing, we have not had any rain in 10 or 12 days. Everything is burning even while doing relentless watering. Everything looks very pretty. See you soon, and God Bless.
Love and believe in the faux. If you have a garden service make sure you show them the fake. My neighbor's $450 faux boxwood bushes got a buzz cut. Dana, yours look fabulous. Such a great look! 🌞Fl
