We shared Liam's 3 day progress & now here is 2 weeks of socialization! We started introducing hands on touch, starting with just letting him come completely out on his own & rewarding him. Then touch through an object, which was a brush- reward, reward, reward! Then tried introducing hands but quickly learned he still had an aversion to them. So by covering our hands, we began to desensitize him & gradually got to bare hands.

We left in the times he swatted to show what true progress looks like. He takes 2 steps forward & may take 1 step back. You have to rebuild that rapport every time you are with him. But the rewards are so worth it. As you can see, this once "feral acting" kitty is quite sweet & loving. We will share a more detailed step by step instructional video on how to accomplish this with non-invasive behavioral modification techniques.
