@@OUHSSAINESAID Dear sir, is there a specific lighting standard for outdoor carpark ? I guess that in Dialuxevo, its abt 20lux depending on situation. Is there a IEC or other standards we could use for reference ? Thank you.
@@andrewlaksh7931 Actually, it depends on the standard you need to respect. For example, in the european standards, it can be either 20, 10 or 5 lux, depending on the traffic load. You can find all that in DIALux evo in the "Spaces" tab.
@@OUHSSAINESAID Greetings to you sir. I have gone through all the for set of videos that you had shared here for free and i was fortunate to have got hold of the videos and to date I have not seen anyone who share their CAD drawings and to use it to flow your guide in the videos step by step. Thank you very much. In one of my projects, I used a jpg. file imported into DIALux Evo. It is a lighting simulation for landscaping and public area at a riverside. But the divisions of assessment zones were not prominent in the drawing. I tried partitioning the drawing into assessment using polygonal floor element in DIALux but the area defined by the polygonal lines didnt form a floor element and hence my lighting simulation didnt work out. Thus, I have a question that I hope you can answer. If the division of zones in the drawing is not well defined, and we estimate a rough floor area and insert lighting fixtures, this floor area doesnt form a solid floor and hence, DIALux would not be able to preform the operation? Thank you in advance sir.
Hello Respected Sir, I am working on a project at our hospital which includes shifting of pole solar lights to pole flood lights because of poor lighting and performance of these solar ligths. Sir, we have the boundary wall around the hospital buildings which lengths 531meter south wall, 440meter northside boudary wall and approximately 220 meter each each and west boudary walls. We have 62 poles already installed for solar lights what i am going to do is to replace solar lights with phillips 100w flood lights to improve serveillance and security of the hospital boundary wall and i do not have any site plans to import into dialux evo 12.1. Please suggest me for having proper working on this project at dialux. Bundle of thanks
Hi I have a problem in dialux. Can you help in this regard? I import auto cad drawing to dialux and do the design. Then again I need to import revised auto cad drawing. I removed the previous one and import the new one. But the new drawing was out of range of my design. So how should I arrange the coordinates to have the new drawing onto the previous design?
Hi, Here is how to solve that : Go to the verical tab "PLANS" click on the new plan in the section "PLANS" in "ADDED PLANS" --> go to "POSITIONING" and click on "MOVE PLAN", then click on a part on the new plan you can recognize in your existing building! That will bring the new plan on top of your project. The best way to that tho is to replace the plan instead of uploading a new one (in case it's the same that you modifed). I hope you understand Good luck
How does one account for a change in grade in a project site? For example, illuminating a long stairway running from one work area on a hill to another work area at the bottom, for an outside facility.
It is actually easy to do! I refer you to this video on how to make stairs : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D0IVeulbGMk.html&ab_channel=OUHSSAINESAID Here is also a playlst for beginners : ru-vid.com/group/PLxzYBVew8KyI-3j7SCwHLcyMf6EIpehdy If you have any question, don't hesitate :)
Thanks @Nader Al-Fekri for your comment! Here is the link for the CAD file! (The luminaires are already inserted, but you can use it like that anyways) drive.google.com/file/d/1vUMS-NdjsllPZD0kudx9zRv19ny-HqSL/view?usp=sharing
I am just learning this software thanks for your instructional video. However when I follow along with you and create floor elements there is no option for running calculations on them. I have to create a calculation surface in order to run calculations. Am I missing something?
In order to be able to start a calculation, you need to insert lights first ! Inserting calculation surfaces is optional, but it's what let's you know about the achieved lighting levels!
Hello OUHSSAINE SAID, I can't find the DWG plan ,it's showing like file does not exist please check the URL. Can you please verify it and upload again Thank you.
