Can we ever truly be safe living in a bubble? Physics, chemistry, and microbiology teach us that it's impossible to avoid dealing with industrial and traffic pollution, water contaminants, sewer system upgrades (whoa that part), your workplace, fast fashion, and wildfire smoke (plus third-hand smoke, which you might not even have heard of yet). And what happens when the outdoor world and our indoor world meet and react?

I want to say how much I appreciate the expert interviews. They are very well framed so it's clear they are responding to a question, but without the preamble and question itself. This is a very nice editing technique and keeps these videos tight and impactful. There's a lot of knowledge being dropped in here, and it's a great watch. Thanks for making them. Eventually, this will take off.

I live in a part of the world where open burning is rampant. I have family members with asthma. We moved away from the city years ago for “fresh air” but the all the trees around our area are being cleared for more development. I dream of a house with positive air pressure to keep out the smoke.

I suspect it's only a matter of time. One benefit of finding this channel now is that you can still book one on one consulting hours on his website. Worth every penny!! He worked with me to solve a major dust problem in my old home.

I’ve been working on a home in East Palestine off and on for the last few weeks. It’s 2 blocks from the tracks. It makes me a little nervous. I definitely am not drinking the water there. By the way the clean up work is still going on

Excellent episode! A long time ago I remember a video you did on ozone. There was mention of scrubbing ozone from the air using various methods, one was unfired clay bricks IIRC. Any developments in this area you can share? I’ll be putting our ventilation system in shortly and I’m looking at ways to treat the incoming air.

Someone in one of the extended interviews mentions clay based paints doing the job.

It was Rich Corsi, but I’ve since heard the effect is not proven and suspected to be limited.

@@HomePerformance interesting. If you have a device that can quantify ozone content in air I would think it would be easy enough to test the theory?
