This video is outdated, game was indeed dying because it had 0 ads but after ads campaing and jp server launch, the player base increase 11 times, fukin 11! so now is very far from dying.
they fucked over the player base for no reason at all. Iirc for clearing stages it was 50 gems i believe they dropped it down to 30 so any new player lost out on ton of gem or old player wo didnt rush story lost out on it. They added 2 more tickets that dont add to pity so they mostly stopped giving away the tickets that do give pity in return for that garb. Also clear mile stone were nerfed so you got way less if you hadnt cleared them before hand you lost a ton on them. I did because some of the stage are bs and require a very specific set up to even clear. in general they killed the gem income by iirc 30% or 40% everyone gave them shit but they did nothing at all even when they had a massive player exodus and whales left the game, Now as of the recent revenue charts they were making iirc about 2 million from what i last remember now they are down to around 200k. They literally killed their game by management who ever decided to do that. i was dropping a few hundred every banner and that just killed it for me i was still playing but gradually weened off and now i havent been on the game in about 2 months? game had potential but they squandered it by hurting the people who gave them money. I dont see this game lasting longer then 2 years hell id be amazed if they get pass the end of the year
For your comment on pity 21:46, I start 4 days ago guess how much pity did I accumulate on rate up banner and normal banner. Yeah its 2 on rate up and 3 on normal. Imagine 3 pity when you still in honeymoon phase. I been spamming those pulls with the free pull you get in early game. Ofc my ether is reserve for demiurge units or I will never get one.
Progress in this game is not realistic because of the rate in which content for new players are released, most of the contents are tailored after veterans. Story season 3 is missing despite D. Drakhan already released, I get that many people are stuck with the s2 Hard Astei, demiurge final bosses fight but that doesn't justify SG to make players build their roster/ gear for 3months and consider it as a 'content'. From Tamara banners until now, none of the new characters have appeared in any main story, this is clearly a sign that game development is hindered. As for your account, since you already think the game is dying, do you want to try enhancing 5star gears? I remember clearing those daily hunts stage 10 without 6star gears, some 5 star event exchange red weapon fully forge. Gear required are very specific and to 3 star them require hours of retry on stage 10 so that you can use tickets to sweep them permanently once you are done. example: DPS: 2 atk set pair with 2 life set or 4 crit dmg set, weapon main stat has to be attack, substat have to be ATK%, Crit DMG, speed, maybe crit chance or accuracy. Since you already have Valentine and do not need to have more than 50% crit chance on your other 3 characters. Ranger: Full speed set with sub stat speed, other stats are ok as long not resilience, evasion, effectiveness. Evasion do not work in story, gear dungeon. Resilience is not important if you use Tio or immunity healers like Faenan/ Eva/ Astei. Healer: 2 or 4 life set pair with 2 def or 4 speed set with HP %, speed, DEF as substat. Anything that has high stats value that do not fit on anyone else just equip on your Drakhan, as long she doesn't die her 2 stack of curse inflict 10% HP damage regardless of enemy HP/ DEF. Mages are more versatile, like if you are using Laplace, you could build her for attacking like a DPS or just build her simply for debuff and barrier purposes with some focus on effectiveness. If the substat are correct, just enhance and try to see if there is any progress and do not treat rangers as DPS, only striker and mage are viable in story, tower, gear dungeon as DPS. Personally I play Star rail, outerplane, black clover all as F2P and totally ignoring any PVP, already finish most of the story related content. The structure of these games are slow with heavy emphasis on gear farming and waiting for developer to release new story content in few months' span. Each time these new content is released, they are finished within a day to a week and its back to gear farming or PVP, only Outerplane is constantly stuck in 1 particular because of gear and character specific as long you are not day 1 player with good gear set. The recent hard mode tower 17 floor requires a Tamara with 290+ speed to stand a chance of surviving more than 2 turns, enemy will just one shot you with 3 followup attacks and gain invincibility if you do not silence and increase their skill cooldown at the start, difficulty spike is unrealistic. Just try to work on your 5 star blue or red, your primary goal is just doing stage 10 and if you managed to, your progress in gear farming will accelerate.
Yeah he tell the truth . but I quit two weeks ago because DDrakhan was a failure as a bruiser who can't kill Dastei without or if the later have a def buff. As a 2turn E7 player My DDrakhan have a really good gear and she failed to do her job lot of times . If she extincts Dastei without her burst she take a long time to refresh her ultimate . Her S1 deals no damage even with 18k making her low value for the rest of the fight. At least she can be called a true Demiurge hero after tomorrow patch. Another problem in this game is gem management, gear crafting cost , transitones. They are all flawed in design.its either gold cost , RNG or the two at the same time
Dude someone made a new genshin account and beat floor 12 the hardest content in a week. You seem to be under a misunderstanding of what genshin is there is no competition and yes simps are part of the money plan because pulling for power is stupid. I get outerplane is dying but that is not hoyoverse fault smilegate is shit they make good money as well but doesn't put most of it back into their games Yea all hoyoverse games look good they have the money so they chose to make high quality games. Yes the weapon banners in hoyoverse games are bad but they give out weapons that are good as replacements. You can shit on genshin all you want but it made gacha games main stream causing other studios to put in work. There were not high quality gacha games before genshin impact because studio didn't want to take that risk. After genshin made mad money we start getting more games like it. Gacha games with high budget. Also honkai star had zero competition in it category while genshin was fighting top tier not cyberpunk games. Cyberpunk was bullshit but losing to bolder gate 3 isn't bad it even became game of the year.
First of all never said Outer Plane was dying bc of Genshin. Second, those people that beat Genshin like that are sweats and play for hours a day. Third, beating content in Genshin is not the problem, it is not being able to use new Characters/weapons bc of the Gacha. Lastly, I have given it credit but I don't think it is viable for the average player if they want to have continuous progress towards a Mac account while not facing paywalls. How about you listen to what I say before you complain. Not saying Genshin is bad, I just don't personally think it's a good game unless it's one of the only you play
