This is hilarious in a way; the dialogue while falling off cliffs, the shortest flashback sequence of all time at 1:35, rushing through Bramble so fast the music tracks overlap, ejections, zero-G cave after Hotshot etc. Feels like a Looney Tunes episode lmao.
it's really a shame that save-loading is faster than seeing the vision of the most recent loop. I feel like there's a lot of missed comedic potential in the player looking for the fastest possible way to die after getting the last thing on a given planet.
At least a hundred hours of my own in this game and probably 50+ hours of let's plays watched, and this is the first time i noticed that you recall your little Scout with a white hole, which means there are black and white warp cores in your Scout and launcher respectively
In order to get all the logs with Gabbro, we need to be in the third loop or later. This requires dying twice, since quitting out doesn't advance the loop counter. The fastest way to die twice is to jump off the cliff at the start, then jump in the fire.
From a comment they made on a previous video, it's because you can't put the broken warp core into the ship if you're already holding the one from the ATP, and you can't set things down in 0 gravity (to swap them). So the trip is entirely to put the broken warp core in the thingy.
Glitchless category is usually for games that have game-breaking glitches that skip big parts of the game. Otherwise, what's the point of playing without 1-3 glitches if the run would be almost exactly the same?
@@janAkaliKilo But that's the point, some of us don't enjoy glitch speedruns (or even consider it real speedrunning) and want to see the whole thing without glitches, from all the runs I've seen in this channel they rely heavily on glitches and without them it would be very different just based on extra length.
@@darkceptor44 Categorization is done first and foremost for the speedrunners of a game, not the viewers. It may be an interesting category to view but it wouldn't be a particularly fun one for the speedrunners
OW speedrun mods have a general rule of "if like 3 people actually run it we'll make a leaderboard" so the answer is that nobody wants to. The glitches generally do not make the game more boring in this game so nobody is interested enough to bother. The major glitches are vessel skip, which would be replaced by scoutboosting on the eye anyway, and high energy lab clip which is replaced by waiting for the sand to rise (meaning you would have to find a time to sleep beforehand and gamble your run for a certain amount of timesave - we used to do this before we discovered the clip, it was less interesting AND more stressful). Everything else isn't really a 'glitch,' it's a 'trick,' and the game would be even more boring without those. Gotta keep in mind that OW runners are not like, BOTW content creators. They probably aren't doing things just because commenters want to see them - they are running for their own enjoyment and/or competition with other runners, not to give viewers what they want. So the solution here is kind of just to do a glitchless run yourself. As long as you're able to have fun with it. also not considering glitched speedruns real is very dismissive of the work people put in for this kind of thing in any game. You're welcome to not enjoy it but discounting his effort and practice is a yikes. I would try it yourself before coming out with a take like that
@@half.step. i don't care how much work you have to do, the real fun is playing how the developers intended for us to play, not by trying to break the game just to shave time. Also dont forget all speedruns are tutorials so it makes no sense to need to try it yourself before criticizing it, its so easy to follow tutorials that its how i got some of those stupid achievements, the real challenge is doing the achievements without glitches (but im not a completionist or a daredevil so why would i want to suffer)
