Good too see another Outlander reaction, far too few for such a great show. Interesting comment about her real life being in the past. You definitely see a difference in the colour of the landscapes. The 20th century is very muted and dull but the 18th is vibrant and green. Hope you keep it up, it's a very compelling show.
Hopefully we won't get in too much trouble. We always try to carefully limit the actual screentime of the show. We have been hit by copyright claims on some of our GoT reactions, but at least they don't make us take them down. That is were I would be really sad. Loosing what little revenue we get is unfortunate, but if we actually had the video removed I would be so sad cause we are loving this show.
Finally a reaction series I can watch again! I really liked your Good Omens and Stranger Things reactions but wasn't familiar/interested in any of the other shows in your line up, so this is a very welcome addition. This show is definitely a guilty pleasure kind of thing for me. I'm a little bit too queer to vibe entirely with the romance at times but I enjoy the historical aspects of it. And I recommended it to my mom on the grounds that she was a huge Dr Quinn Medicine Woman fan back in the day. XD
So the thing with grey horses (the coloring, not any particular breed) is they're born a dark charcoal and gradually get lighter and more dappled as they grow up, until they eventually look "white" (but this is not actually true white which is a different, much rarer color; they're white from birth and have pink skin, visible around the nose and eyes). I think the dappled greys are really lovely too! Horse color genetics and nomenclature is quite interesting (and complicated!) :)
It sounds like it. I always find it interesting how complicated the "simplest" things are. A million minor decisions eventually creating this one unique thing.
Just discovered your reactions to Outlander. I'm so excited because you seem to know so little about the show. It will be fun to see your reactions when you're coming in not knowing much, even about the show. I've been a fan of Outlander since 1993 and I remember the feeling when I first read that scene with all the Highlanders in the cottage. It's going to be so much fun rediscovering the story along with you two. Can't wait for more. Hurry!
As a die hard outlander fan i am always up for welcoming others to the fabulousness of this show. If u dont know it is a series of 8 books so far you will be doing your reactions for quite a long time. We are now in s5 on Starz. Someone beat me to the comment about the copyright claims. Even though u are keeping under the allowed time the powers that be can be real d!cks about this show and have hit several reaction folks I watch so keep in mind u can put videos on patreon. Enjoyed your video!!!! Welcome Sassenachs!
Oooo! Highly enjoyed ur reaction and especially your break down at the end, y’all picked up on a lot of good stuff! Hope you continue to react! Really looking forward to seeing more!
Hi! I just stumbled upon your channel( it was in my recommended to watch). I love outlander! I was recently put on medical leave from work and ordered bedrest when i found Outlander. I binged the first 4 seasons in one week and then rewatched them 5 times...So glad theres another channel that reacts to this show. Please keep reacting. I love your perspective. I never thought of the haziness of real life and the vividness of the past. You girls seem like your really cool. I'll be checking out your other reactions. You've got yourselves a subscriber here!!!!!
I am so excited for these reviews. I adore Outlander. I started the book series back in 2011 and was beside myself when the show premiered. I can't wait to see you both fall in love with this TV series. I know it's going to happen. 🤞🏾
Woohoo! Longtime fan of the books here, and the show's pretty good too. The intro music is sung to the melody of The Skye Boat Song which is a very well known Scottish folk song. (Warning for possible historical spoilers if you look up details on it.)
@@LofiandJinxie I read book 1 and was underwhelmed. The show is much better, imho, because the actors are so great. It was a slog to finish the first book and then I just read synopses on Wikipedia for all the others.
Bit of trivia (no spoilers) the only actor to actually speak fluent Gaelic is Catriona Balfe (Claire) and she's the only one whose character doesn't understand it lol. The men all had to learn another language.
Oh man, I would love to hear her thoughts on the rest of the cast learning the language, like who took to it the easiest or any funny mispronunciations.
@@LofiandJinxie That would be awesome. I think I saw a bit on that at some point and she said there was a dialect coach brought in, but I don't remember any questions about who took to it the easiest. I would say Sam, he's perfect at everything, including being mad sexy ;)
I've been dipping in to your other reactions and liked them and now your doing Outlander, which I've liked from the beginning, ( I'm a sucker for historical stuff and combining with time travel I was intrigued and then hooked). So now I'm subscribed and up for going on the journey again with you.
I read the first 5 books when they came out, so I only remembered the basics when the show started. Best of both worlds in a way. Knew what to basically expect, but not even to know what happens next lol
Wow wow wow. So few react to this on youtube/patreon, so it's always exciting to see new reactors doing it. I'll warn you in advance, take a note of this: Before you watch season 3 episode 12, make sure the subtitles are turned off, because there is something in them which will spoil an otherwise shocking moment for you. Enjoy.
Oh I hate that too! Happens to me all the time bc the majority of content I watch is not in english, and even if it is in english I'll have spanish subs, but I'm bilingual so I still get spoiled! Just can't win, haha
Hey! New to your channel and really enjoyed this. This is going to be such a long droughtlander I've been trying to find other fans online to watch their reactions to this show. Outlander is an amazing show! I can't say enough about it, you will LOVE it!!! I'm happy to be starting this journey with you guys. The first time I saw this first episode I immediately loved it and I binged the first 3 seasons! Fell in love with Jamie from the beginning & I'm a lesbian! lol On to the next video!
Not 100% sure about the breed of the grey horse, it could be either a Lipizzan or Appaloosa horse breed, both known for their spotted, patterned coats. Grew up with some horses when i was young so i have a little info on them, didn't think that info could ever be helpful but here we are lol.
Love this show! Please consider reacting to Revenge! One of my favorites that has no reactions. Also Life Unexpected, You're the Worst, and Instant Star. There are no reactions for any of those but a few of my favorites I recommend. The Haunting of Hill House is also amaz2if you haven't reacted to it.
OMG girls are you in for a surprise to come, subbed to follow each and every one of your reactions :) BTW nothing is censored here:) The mysterious guy in the rain looking up at Claire was Jamie, but how he got there will be revealed in book 10 (serie 10) :) Be sure to watch everything closely cuz you need to remember a lot of things
@@Melanie-jy2nw yea well, Diana Gabaldon said it many times in several interviews, and i srsly doubt if these 2 here will even notice i said it since they do not react to the series anymore, ar least not that i have noticed
glad you are watching this show but i would rather see you binge through one or two series then take on so so so many shows ate the same time.. i like to watch people reactions but to entire series at a time.. enjoy the shows .. at least you picked some good ones but I will wait til you have some completed series to subscribe
We completely agree! We are baby reactors and completely overestimated the amount of shows we can do. That's why we aren't going to introduce new shows for a while so we can catch up on our current ones and be more consistent.
Please will you do a reaction to being human uk it came out in 2009 before being human USA the UK show got 5 season but season one only got 6 episodes don't start with the pilot episode just start with the first episode thank you
