hmm this host was a little rough. But the cast was excellent with the come back answers... Richards answer with "Hibbity Hobbity (what ever that was) He was HILARIOUS and Poor Sam having to explain his Hotness, What kind of question was that???? So weird. AND Caitriona answered the Sex scenes question perfectly.

I think Sam was just sick of stupid questions...They all seem to have had a drink...lol...Sometimes they all look embarrassed....The moderator was awful...what was all that about hibbity bibbity...Just stupid...No wonder he gave the answer about "cock" shot..Richard was soooo funny , lightened the mood...x
Though I did laugh quite often... It appeared to me as if this was a throw Sam under the bus session. Imo it didn't work. Unless one has no sense of humor. Obviously Cat is a good actress but in this particular series without Sam and his particular method of acting it would not have taken off ... It is a two co star production. Even so Tobias is excellent in being complicated expression of a duo character in defining how the story evolves. I'm not an expert critic just some one who enjoys the story and drama.
Boy things have changed. Sam is totally ignoring Cat. You can not even tell they were once so close. What happened? I hope they are not getting tired of each other. They used to be so touchy smiley! Great group of actors hope they can continue show till the end!!!! Hate to say this but Sam Heughan is Outlander love Cait but Sam does not get the recognition for his acting he deserves!
They were definitely a couple before. You could see it in everything they did. They are no longer together. Unless they are purposely acting differently in front of the cameras to protect themselves.

They are ACTORS, they like each other, but every single shoot is planned by peaple who write the script/director/producers ect., and the actors just play the scene extremely well. I was honestly disappointed with the 4th season. It was bland. It’s as if Jamie and Claire has been pushed back when the show has always been mainly centred on them. I hope season 5 will be as good as season 1-3. The moderator honestly was terrible. Confusing questions. Etc.
Have you read the books? In the following there is a lot about John, William, Ian, Roger, Brianna and others. Jamie and Claire are a little bit in second term.

That question from moderator was absolutely terrible and no wonder Sam answered that way. She deserved it. And all others on panel thought so to I would guess. Then they tried to redeem the dumb as heck question and helped him out, if she had asked about the beating or Claire and to explain that might have made a bit of sense. You're right. I think that is awful to hear again and again the same questions and to be forced to answer again and again the same things. But this is the show business and it gives them "prime time", possibilities to be seen and get new, interesting roles (lots of money). Invited to all kind of shows, in NYC today and in Los Angeles tomorrow and back again to NYC.... Their life in a suitcase, hotel rooms and planes. I suppose that before launching any season they are forced by contract to do these "visits". Is also about fans, they are so "hungry", I would be so sick and tired of it to smile all the time, to be chased like a pray everywhere. It would be fun in the beginning but after some time it's like everybody wants a piece of you. I would go crazy 😂 This is how a lot of people in this business lose contact with real life and reality and become strange and arrogant.
Sam and Caitriona are both the stars of Outlander and usually the main actors don"t sit way at the other end of the moderator and maybe if Sam sat on his chair properly then maybe Caitriona would not look so seperated?
I cannot believe this moderator introduced Catriona Balfe as "the star" - if she was going to call anybody that she should have introduce Sam Heughan and Catriona Balfe together as "the stars" . I also can't believe that Sam has not been nominated for a Golden Globes award. Their body language is definitely changing and it was Cait sitting away from Sam with very few of their usual interactions. Shame.
Actually Cait is the star. She plays the title character. Also, at the table reads, her placard shows the character name with the no. 1. Sam's has the character name with the no. 2

Mentioning why Sam was admired when he smelled bad was a murderer blah blah and then asking if Sam and Cait had carte Blanche on sex scenes???? She’s seeming to have carte Blanche on questions she’s asking as moderator. They are absolutely awful!!!!! The panel is trying to rescue this terrible interview however. The Word is that the cast really DO love their fans and love doing these shows. I say they held it together well because....agreed the moderator was crap. Sam said "cock shot" and it was a fantastic save. The audience was probably getting annoyed with the moderator and they needed a good one. Richard Rankin seems like he's a blast. James Bond? Mmmmm.

Noticed both of these things, and wondered why when moderator introduced Cait she said the “star of the show” and clearly she should have said Sam about Sam or not said it at all. And distance between Sam and Cait is obvious, with chairs like that and their joking not going on.
Je découvre cette interview. L'ambiance est assez bon enfant, mais je n'ai pas aimé la question provocatrice de l'animatrice sur la question des scènes d'amour, qu'elle appelle scènes de sexe. J'ai lu et relu la saga de Diana Gabaldon, les scènes érotiques que Sam et Catriona reproduisent dans la série rendent quasi exactement ce que D. Gabaldon a créé comme relation entre Jamie et Claire. Ils sont à la fois amoureux et amants passionnés. C'est cette étonnante restitution du roman, et pas seulement des scènes d'amour qui rend la série si populaire. Merci à tous ces acteurs pour leur formidable performance.

That moderator better leave Sam alone! Lol. All the dumb questions she’s asking him sounds like digs at his character. Sam & Cait’s body language is speaking volumes. Definitely not as close as they used to be. Maybe it’s because she’s engaged now? Unfortunately it’s starting to bleed into the show as well. I can tell that somethings changed. The powerful bond & love they shared in the first couple of seasons has fizzled isn’t really there anymore. Claire was a force in the earlier seasons and she’s kinda just blah now.
And Roger talks too much. He was honestly annoying in the show. He’s nothing like Frank or Jamie at the very least. He’s fickle and ugh... disappointing. He was good in season 3 being the geek and all but then he became one of the biggest jerk in season 4.

Ele poderia ter respondido apenas que, apesar de tudo que foi dito, ele era amoroso, bom amante, apaixonado por Claire e Jamie era atraente e que isso encanta as mulheres!! A entrevistadora foi grosseira na pergunta, ela se refere a ele como objeto, a pergunta é constrangedora e nem sempre a pessoa está preparada pra receber isso. Veja que ele ficou tão sem jeito que a produtora pediu pra responder por ele Se ele foi grosso, ela foi inconveniente.
La entrevistadora lo primero que dijo fue " padre Ausente" , Sam hizo un movimiento de cabeza como sorprendida y luego respondió quizá algo inconveniente ; pero la periodista también fue fuerte lo que dijo , pienso que Sam reaccionó como pudo porque lo descolocó y ahora con más razón. Cuando el año pasado reveló en su libro que fue abandonado por su padre a los 18 meses y su madre crío a dos hijos sola. Con más razón se entiende esa actitud , no supo cómo responder.
Hay muchos chismes en ese lugar outlander y cler tiene la costumbre de mirarme pero todos vienen de de esd lugar a es como si lo dijeran a propósito para que lo escuchen los demás yo lo a escuche lo dije por que sam te pregunta.🎉
This season has been disappointing so far, for all the violence and hopelessness the way the episodes have been written (although Episode6, "Blood of My Blood", with the introduction of Sam's "secret" son William, feels like they are bringing us back to the excitement of earlier seasons). It seems Caitriona Balfe's personal life (engaged) has affected her ability to show her character as loving towards Sam's character as she was in previous seasons; almost as if, if she acted true to her character, her fiance would be jealous and think she wasn't being faithful to him. Or it could be the tv show writers, perhaps they haven't been doing as good a job as they had in prior seasons. The loss of Terry Dresbach (costume designer) will really be felt; here's hoping other costume designers stay true to her and Diana Gabaldon's original vision. Sophie Skelton's weird 'spotty' accent is distracting -- sometimes she sounds like she has a British accent, sometimes she doesn't. I will still stay true to my favourite tv show though. LOVE SAM HEUGHAN ... and JAMIE, of course! ~Diana from Toronto
HRHDMKYT I agree with the Sophie accents! I wish they would have let her have her British accent. Seems like she is struggling with the american one and it’s affecting her acting.
In those times everybody was dirty , smelly, houses were dark and smelly. There were taxes on windows and people couldn't afford to pay so the rooms were dark and smokey from the candles and fire places.... Houses were drafty and cold, they used to cook their food in the same room where they slept, etc. Nobody was so clean, including the kings and queens 😊 Head lice under the wigs, perfume to cover the ugly smells. Didn't open the windows because they generally thought that the fresh air is not good for health, that diseases come from air. Claire couldn't keep herself very clean, if you read the books will understand. When you travel by horseback days in a row and the only way to wash yourself and your clothes is in a river or a little stream, you can't ask to much. To cook on a fire in the woods is not the best way to keep yourself clean and flowers-smelling 🤔
Moderator was fine i tht. They are sick of the sex hot questions. But to answer the tinder question people love Jaime the character and also sam because of his loyalty the way hes so passionate the way he gives all of himelf his male charisma etcetc. She says its a tv showbnot soft porn . Why did they put Caitriona sitting at the very end? And why her chair so far away from Sam's chair? Did the interviewer arranged that on purpose? Maybe she saw Caitriona as competition?
