Following the harrowing events of Season 6, Jamie and Young Ian race to rescue Claire before she’s tried and wrongfully convicted for the murder of Malva Christie. But their mission is complicated by the beginning of a geopolitical firestorm: The American Revolution has arrived. In the seventh season of OUTLANDER, Jamie, Claire, and their family are caught in the violent birth pains of an emerging nation as armies march to war and British institutions crumble in the face of armed rebellion.
The land the Frasers call home is changing - and they must change with it. In order to protect what they’ve built, the Frasers have to navigate the perils of the Revolutionary War. They learn that sometimes to defend what you love, you have to leave it behind. As the conflict draws them out of North Carolina and into the heart of this fight for independence, Jamie, Claire, Brianna, and Roger are faced with impossible decisions that have the potential to tear their family apart.

There will never be another TV show like Outlander. The epic story (esp. the love story between Jamie and Claire), the wonderful actors, beautiful locations, amazing costumes, gorgeous set designs, cinematography, incredible music, etc. can never be replicated. Will always be my favorite!! 💝

She is so hardcore she doesn't even mention time travel. The woman is something else entirely. She even challenges God and the Fates when questioned about inventing " moldy bread "

*Does anyone else miss them being in Scotland ? I haven’t read the books, I tried but I messed up and invested in the show first, partly because I never heard of it before the show. Love outlander! But I find myself rewatching early seasons because I loved the dynamic between these two early on, it was exciting and raw and I also loved the characters we don’t see anymore!!*

I'm only partway through the books so I don't know what happens later, but I think it's sweet they're in America for now. They stay because Jamie feels closer to Brianna there (before she and Roger go back), knowing he's building the country she will eventually grow up in.

You should really try reading/ listening to the books it will open up so much more for you. I say this only because when the series started I too had not heard of Outlander and when after the first episode they were talking and said there were/ are novels, I was shocked. Went out and bought the first book and continued to watch the series on STARZ . While I do enjoy the adaptation,the books are better in a different way. Just food for thought 😊 Cheers.

This is just a two-minute long trailer, and I already saw several book moments that I could ever only have imagined. After watching this, I am once again reminded that there is not story like OUTLANDER. During the drought, I read several different books, learned about so many book characters, but at the end of the day, this is still the best one ever. I can't wait to see the series.

We can not ignore the fact that Starz has been producing HBO level content since 2014 when they came out with Black Sails. After Black Sails I was wondering what Starz would replace the hit series with, and behold they came out with Outlander. Been following Outlander for the past 9 years now. It is nice to see what a huge following Outlander has gained. I am looking forward to the 2 final seasons. I know season 8 is a long time away, however I am already heart broken that the show will come to an end. Hopefully Outlander goes out with a bang.

I'm making my way through the books currently after having watched the show first and it's like a special extended version of the show for me. My story with this series began three times, when back in 2016, as a teenager, I came across this incredible screen adaptation of Diana Gabldon's novels. But I really fell in love with this series only after starting to watch it for the third time. It's the best I've ever seen! I saw this and literally screamed for joy!!! About time for a mini Droughtlander to end. I CANNOT wait!!!! I've read a lot of the books and am on audiobook for The Fiery Cross and have loved every minute of each book and the series total. These have become books for life. There are a few stories that have latched on and never have let go, this is #1. I am glad to see that we're coming back, but it really, really saddens me to know that each episode is nearer to the end. I love this show for a lot of reasons and when i heard S8 was the end i felt somewhat devastated and brought me to tears; no! Finish it! It's like the desth of old friends whom are beloved. Diana's dtory will be with me for life. This show was my pandemic and then brought me back to love from a very, intensely difficult divorce. Jaime's what reminded me of standards and how men should be. It made me feel live was possible again.

I read a lot, especially when I’m Away fishing or hunting. And a watch a fair amount of TV when I’m recovering from a major surgery while I’m rehabilitating to get back to normal so I can fish and hunt and work again. Outlander is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a very long time. It’s got it all it’s got history , mystery and just an amazing story. I’ll be setting out duck decoys at 3 o’clock in the morning by myself, and then when I have an hour to wait for shooting hours I’ll cook up some sausage and eggs and watch an episode. 👍

Best TV series in my lifetime and I am old. I am rewatching the entire series although I can quote most episodes line by line now. From S1, E1, I have seen the series over 50 times. Before I bought into paying more $$ for streaming channels, watching Outlander repeatedly was my daily delight. I don't have the time now with series on Netflix, Prime, etc. But, the show is part of me. It makes such a massive impact because of the great stories, great acting, and real life.actors. It is not just a TV show. It is so realistically portrayed by the actors that it is life changing. 💯👍❤️❤️❤️

No words can describe how much I adore this brilliant, absolutely fantastic series. Everything about it is so great but especially the acting - I love Caitriona and Sam. This trailer gave me major chills, but it also made me sad and scared because I don't want the series to end - the heavy atmosphere of the trailer felt foreboding. I'm relieved that the season extended, and the 8th one will be the last one. Still, the end is near and I'm already dreading it... I don't want to say goodbye to this show😭😭

I’ve just seen the season 6 final episode and my heart beat has been so fast by 20 minutes now. This show makes you drawn into itself so much that you really feel the fear when the protagonists go through danger scenes. Outlander means so much to me now as it really helped me shape my vision on having one true love with deep feelings since I watched it as a teenager during the years it was first released. Now I’m married with a person that values Love as much as I do and I understand the characters even better than before. It’s amazing 🌿🥺❤️

Outlander is such an amazing show! This is one of those shows that just gets better the longer it goes on. Seasons 1, 2, & 5 are easily my favorite seasons. However, Season 7 has easily taken over as my favorite season. It is just so good. I can't wait for part 2!
