My stepson has been jamming gears now since the '90s and he made his dream come true and bought a 1976 Peterbilt with the long frame and large cab he worked hard for the past 25 plus years for the money it's all upgraded to meet dot standards and other things as a dad I couldn't be more prouder than watching my son achieve his dreams for himself and family and he loves what he does

I loved my Freightliner , I could have stayed in it 24/ 7. But my favorite time was seeing the sun come up. Nothing like a beautiful sunrise and a good truck stop breakfast. Retired 24 years ago. It's still hard to stay at home. Sometimes I dream about the road at night. Wake up and bum out.

My last " outlaw ride " was an 89 362 Pete. My first was a 62 Pete that hauled arse. That old 89 girl would march around the modern ones, bigger payloads, reliable and get a lot better fuel economy. Should never have let her go. Anyone old enough to remember what it was like would know what I mean? All you had to do was grease em, wash em, go again. Now you have to screw em back together or wait till someone turns up with a laptop. The old days might have been hard, but at least we looked after each other. The feeling of going quick and learning your craft and knowing you've done your best has all but died. Truck on. 🤟😎👍🚛🚛🚛

I miss my trucking days. Retired in 2015 after 38 years OTR. However, I'll be going BACK on the road full time soon to live in a Class B RV (van) !! Yay!
