Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Declared “The Best Musical of the Decade” by Entertainment Weekly and “A Cultural Phenomenon” by Variety, WICKED is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

I love this video. I loved Annaleigh when I saw her in Wicked alongside Stephanie J Block, Sebastian Arcelus and Cristy Candler. She was an amazing Glinda. I'm so glad she got the chance to do this video.

Cristian Spiteri A release date for the upcoming Wicked movie has actually been confirmed. Universal confirmed that the movie will be released on 20th December 2019. No cast has been officially confirmed yet though.

If there is no cast yet, it's beyond impossible that by 20th December 2019, a Wicked movie will be out. Especially when you consider what a long musical Wicked is, and how much CGI the film would need.

Cristian Spiteri There rumours of a cast beginning to form though. They're probably just keeping it secret until they're 100% sure. Nicole Scherzinger is rumoured to be the favourite to play Elphaba. I believe it's between her, Anna Kendrick, Samantha Barks and Lea Michele.

Being the second best Glinda EVER (only after Cheno), you guys give her the show’s most boring song of them all... No. I don’t count sentimental man as a song. Why, oh, why? Even though she makes an amazing job (as usual), it wasn’t fair doing this to Annaleigh.
