As a newer player who doesn't spend much on hobbies I have to admit I've been eyeing those gear packs periodically, thanks for taking one for a new guy and showing me that I shouldn't, HH!

Great video.....personally, I would have taken all the boots up to at least 12 too, to see if any triple rolled. A rework may have been useful for other champs. Speed sets are useful for more than just Arbiter.

I am an endgame player, i would've kept that triple crit rate piece you were talking about, as you said its kind of a filler piece but 20 percent plus crit rate pieces are pretty valuable as well as triple speed roll pieces

This is criminal what Plarium does. It should be forbidden. This is not a game, it's like casino gambling.

Maybe if the chaos ores werent so overpriced and allowed you to roll one gear at least three times.. and keeping the stats that you want before rolling would be also nice

In my experience, chaos ore seems to almost always bring back a worse piece than what you started with. It's a major disincentive for participating in the Forge Pass.

Whether you buy gear or farm it, reworking it is "expensive" one way or another. They need to change the rework mechanic. Make to where you can roll back the changes if it's a rework you don't want. They can make it to where if you roll it back, you can't rework it again, and you still loose the chaos ore. That would still be better than loosing a decent piece when you're trying to rework it into an awesome one.

HP% is just far superior to Def% in tanky builds, although I'd say if you found crit stats elsewhere it's the type of piece that could fit on a Soulless with a Siphi lead, but that team probably doesn't compete in plat.

every choas ore i used made piece worse then they were.. in my own headcannon i feel like 6star pieces have lower chances to roll tripple or quad.. xD I have 8 5star quar rolls with 1 being speed in the curing set...... but only 1 6star quad roll on a hp% chest with critdmg quadroll..... xD shit is fuckedup played for over 3 years xD

Chances of a triple roll is only 3.12%. So yeah, it's not that his luck is bad but his real chances are way lower like he should be expecting less than 4 triple rolls in a 100 gears

FTP Looking for advice: Need to 6* some champions for the final run to arbiter. It takes a while for me to do so I don't want to waste it. Blue options: archmage, hurndig, jintoro. Red options: burangiri, deliana, husk, achak. Ideally need to be able to help faction wars and doom tower.

Attack based nuker will need weapon with attack % , def based nuker need def% on shield...And u cant glyph crit dmg. So Weapon/ shield having resistsnce/ accuracy makes the gear weak for nukers ..either for def or attack based. You not only lose the substats Stats, but also the glyph capability.

Watching videos like this reinforce my stance on being FTP. You just got well and truly bummed for $250. I'm glad you do this so I know for sure that I never will

Well my only quad roll speedset item is kinda broken, speed +6 ( 0 rolls), hp 5 %(0 rolls), crit dmg 6%(0 rolls), crit rate 34 godly % ( quad roll)

Best rework I get. Has happened a few times, boots from junk main to 6 star spd. Gotten double spd twice off rework. I don't use anywhere near as much as u tho hades.--crit rate with dmg & accuracy spd. Useful for maneater?

This is why I stopped using chaos ore. It's garbage. I feel the same way about glyphs. I get a 5 or a 6 star and pay the 50,000 or 100,000 silver and roll a one star. Edited to add....but at least the glyphs aren't valued as much as the chaos ore.

I hate the Ores. 6 star HP% boots, rerolled them and got HP%. The fact u cant lock a stat or reroll multiple times just makes them a full on bait. And people wonder why its accused of being a casino pretending to be a game

I'm kind of confused watching you SELL Legendary items with good stats on them. It's the speed set, a top end set. I can't imagine a time where my gear will get so good and I'm like.... nah, these 4 amazing stats aren't good enough.

I do find these informative, but frugal me wishes you wouldn't! And Chaos Ore is garbage. I wish more people would say it.

I used Chaos orb on a piece i got long ago 6 star legendary speed item. There was 4 rolls on accuracy. Rerolled and i got my first 4 rolls on Speed. 27 in total.

I reworked a pair of 6 star speed boots without realising the base stats on boots, gloves, chest change. I will never make that mistake again.

All my best speed gear is worse than the swift parry set my Arbiter is sporting with 313 speed. Has been pretty viable in arena gold 5.

i am sure at this point that its been said countless time but let me be the one to put it here again, if your going to whale go and do it on bluestacks connected to you google account, the points you get after buying a product can massively save you on costs, i normally use my on the $9 dollar starter packs, im sure some of you spend more money that me on this game on a daily basis.

Tbh that triple roll cr on my Ch with archmage Helmut would make a lot of difference. Then could just focus on attack and cdmg

Really enjoyed this analysis - and your sense of humour, as always! At several points in the video, you asked how end game players would value certain pieces. I can't comment on that since I'm at the early to mid-game transition. My biggest challenge is moving my damage champions into crit damage gloves, and getting enough speed to go first in "real" fights in Gold III arena. The pieces with extra rolls in speed and crit rate are what I look for - I have one nuker with crit damage gloves, and my speed lead and debuffer have speeds that are approaching 270. Accuracy isn't as difficult to get as speed. I've only bought a few gear packs, so haven't enough data to do a real energy cost comparison of buying gear/chaos ore packs with farming, but my impression is that farming is still a better way to improve my gear and my account.
