It hasn't tangled so far, and to be honest, all of my braided wigs have held up well, I think it is more or less how you store it when you do not use it will result in how they stay up, they last better through washes as well, this wig may outlast its wearer, lol. so, take confidence that your purchase will pay for itself, and is great in between hair stylist visits.
