TFS and trying something new! This style looks great on you!☺ I love mine JUST as much!❤😍 I have the 16" version in. I've had mine in for a little over 5 weeks and STILL loving it. It is almost no maintenance! It felt coarse initially but has softened a touch with wear. I want to keep going with it too but kind of ready to move on to another style. Got compliments and people thinking it was my real hair.
@@natrlgrl Hi. I applied product at install then twisted to keep it out of my way. After that I brushed 2 small sections and applied 2 different products then twisted to see how hair would respond. Product not really needed for this hair. I just put a bonnet on at night every night and tied down edges, and fluffed in the mornings/days. You can twist OR comb out then twist for definition. Hair softened with wear. I used Lotta Body Coconut & Shea Gelee/Custard OR Styling Milk from the same line. Used mousse once I think. Also tried Creme of Nature Coconut ?Styling Cream? the one in the container with screw off top. I applied oils and moisturizers to my scalp and edges and those things eventually got on the crochet hair at times by transfer from bonnet. Long reply but hope it's helpful.☺
@@alitrawynn8102 I will try some of these. I just installed But it feels stiff and rough to the touch. I am thinking of removing some of the hair even though I only used a pack and 2 strands from another bundle. I love how it looks on RU-vid but on my head it's not looking the same... 🙂
@@natrlgrl I hope that some of those tips work for you. I too have felt that feeling like, "Why doesn't mine look like theirs? It looked so easy when they did it on YT but look at mine.":D I sometimes like my version better and because I have been doing crochet for awhile now I watch YT videos for style ideas and braiding pattern ideas but make the style my own. I found the hair rough although some YTers were saying how soft it was, no, this hair is coarse! I would try some type of curling cream and a little water and twist it up and leave the twists overnight then take them down the next morning. That should help. It got drizzled on one day when I got caught in the rain with only a shawl for protection and because it is knit with natural holes in it, hair got drizzled on and I was shocked but the hair got SOFTER from being slightly rained on! That makes me think misting the hair with water just might be the trick. I hope this helps. : )
Omg your video came up on my timeline. I did what you suggested and the style turned out good. I didn't want it too big but because of your video it helped.
Sis, I love it! This is one of my go to styles because it looks so natural, low maintenance, quick, and not hot. Like you said this Alabama heat ain’t no joke! You look amazing as always and TFS. 🤗
Great video!!🥰I’ve been wanting to try this hair!! This is definitely a sign. I will see if my beauty supply store has this hair in stock. Thanks for the review!!
You did that sis! Please do more hair like this!!! I love the kinky coily look and this mimics the type 4 hair so well! Glad I stumbled across your video!
A+ on the vid. Nothing less. And the Afro looks MAHHHHVOLOUS on you. I’ve been pondering on getting this hair but not anymore! When will RU-vid allow your subbies to post pics of their installs. I’d love to show you how mine turns out.
The best thing about this hair, idk if you have discovered it yet, is that you can define the hair with some eco styler gel and get a whole new texture that looks like natural hair like 4/b.
Yess, I learned it from this creator name @erikkaJJems. The only downside is it can take a while to detangle but after you do it stays that texture it does not really revert to an afro.
I was looking at the hair yesterday when I was at the beauty supply store, and was not sure if it would work for this style since package says its for twist. Thanks for sharing this video. Love the look! I will be buying the hair.
Yassss 🥰🥰🥰❤️ I love it 😍😍😍plz test out different brands and I couldn’t quite tell but it looked like it had a curl pattern in it on the pack did the curl pattern stay when you split the hair 🤔
