I just wanted to take a moment to give you a huge "thank you!" for these videos and the work you put into them! You really helped me out a LOT with these ones! I am just kinda "beginner" I am close to finish the story for the first time and I struggled a few times with some certain bosses. But with your Guide Videos I could manage to get the best out of my Technomancer and now its so chilling to play him. It feels like I feel in love with this class again thanks to you! Keep up the amazing work and again, thank you!
Hey!! I just found a huge glitch/cheese if you put shadow comet on both weapons you can fire one round switch weapons fire and you can rain comets all day! I only told you because I love your content
Tactical Assault rifle does so much damage because it's DMG value mapping is (very likely) swapped with the Sharpshooter. It'll probably get patched in the future. My suggested changes to this build: Using the Cryo Turret and Ice Components on Blighted Turret, instead of Snap Freeze keeps more enemies frozen and for longer, making Snap Freeze unneeded and also opening up better use of the torso armor (and a mod slot for Ice Components). I'd also suggest using Bone Shrapnel, as it's amazing with clearing trash mobs and works great when so many are frozen (relatively easy to get on a high damage Tactical with the DLC exploit). My build still has a ways to go to be complete and I still gold all CT15s w/out a problem. I'd also suggest King Slayer and Crit Stack... instead of of Dum Dum and Critical Analysis
I’m glad my main is Techno. I’ve been clearing CT15 ChemPlant runs in like 6-7 minutes solo with this exact build. Grave digger + killing spree is absolutely insane in CT15.
wow, the burst+toxic rounds is absolute craze mode. I was struggling on t5, and just 1 shot my way up to t8 with no problems. This feels a touch broken and will prob be nerfed, but ima use it while it's here
PSA : Yes, this build is affected by the nerf. Is this build now useless? No, the nerf represents roughly a 30-35% nerf in this build, however I'm still able to crit for 1 million per headshot, so it's still incredibly powerful. Do you need to change anything for the build? No, the only thing I'd recommend swapping is Critical Analysis, as they have seemingly stealth nerfed that down to 15% CHD instead of 30. Otherwise, follow the build, and you'll be perfectly fine, just worse than we were yesterday. Hopefully you guys enjoyed! Many more builds to come so make sure to subscribe, and follow me on twitch to see how this build decimates all the other expeditions, and to see all the new and upcoming builds for other classes

@@InzaneMcNazty It's really hard to build your character without special rounds, for the technomancer there is one but you'll need a legendary set to use mine grenade and the rocket launcher with the missile turret to reammo infinitely and interrupt from a distance... Some kind of explosive build
Honestly if you don't have Captain Hunter just use power assimilation.. It's basically the same thing both mods actually give you increase damage against elites.. It's just with the power mod that I mentioned you actually have to have a anomaly build already in place because the mod what it does is based on how many of them are on the battlefield it gives you a anomaly damage increase that's why this particular mod makes any tricks or build extremely powerful same goes for Pyro
There are at least 5 different assault rifle versions (yes all are burst fire versions, but different name of the weapon) with different dmg, so finding one with the correct mods and the most dmg is proving very difficult. I found one lvl 49 that has lower dmg than a lvl 48.
Wow I find it interesting that you talk about the attributes on your armor in the same way as somebody else to days ago and you mentioned no gold snap in the same way that that person days ago
@@dumahssbeech9114 oh ok, but what about the fact we can not even get rid of the preorder gear.. its stuck in our stash or back pack, i had duplicates in inbox and somehow more ended up in my back pack its just taking up space
Hmmm the wording for the 3 piece borealis set seems off. “All party members” Wouldn’t that apply to you as well? Since you are a member of a party. If it was just for friends, “Other Allies are granted 90% crit damage upon frozen enemies.” Would make a lot more sense.
@RU-vid False Bans nerfs should have been on the back burner for them. Nerf the builds so that people can hardly play solo anymore while matchmaking is BUSTED lol makes sense.
@@IamMaximumFury except that isn't how it works. Challenge tier for expeditions is what we're all going for not world tier. World tier is useless. And how do you get level 50 gear without progressing then smart ass. That is an asshole thing to tell people "lOwEr YoUr WoRlD tIeR."
@@IamMaximumFury honestly, I maxed my world tier before I went into expeditions and completely regretted it. Sure i was able to realistically start at CT7, the game makes you climb the tiers anyway, so me thinking I would be able to start higher on the expedition tiers didn't happen, had to go through 1-7 anyway before I started seeing a change.
Mthe second item that sharp eye comes on is the borealis boots. Also as an FYI, critical analysis was nerfed to 15% as well. Looks like there are now a couple firepower perks that may be better. Also, man I really wish I had a PC to play on. I watch PC gameplay, and it looks soo much easier than console. Aiming on xbox doesn't feel very good.
I legit have made this exact same build without watching the video, only difference is I have the sniper master perk instead of dealing the “20% damage taken and dealt”
Combine this with upgrading a green burst rifle to purple so you can have a choice of 3 mods giving you that much more of a chance to get the god roll of your dreams
Killing spree, captain hunter and euthaniser are the 3 big mods that im still missing for this. ive had over 100 hours farming with my techno and no luck yet on either the amber vault or the plague helm. Also oddly enough i have had multiples of each of the different pcs for the cannonball set EXCEPT for the gloves. fingers crossed for that soon. Great content love the vid
Aside from the Spree mod, I haven't gotten the rest either so don't feel bad. I've gotten more mods for other classes (nothing good or complete though) than for my Technomancer. The RNG gods are very stingy to me. The only build I've been able to build is where as long as I can shoot, I'm immortal. My leech (both weapon and skill) are super high. I don't even need to use gatling gun(my build makes me move way faster with more damage anyway.) I've been able to outlive a Devastator with his higher armor and Earthquake build and have zero downs to his 2. I can sit on take on captains with Breechers shooting me from my side or back and I won't even notice because A) it's so noisy and B) my regeneration is so high that my health bar is always full with more coming in. I don't use the cold snap, as the Screechers are too high for that so I use cryo turret for continuous freezing and wrecking.
Nerfing one or two buffs everything else. Buffing everything to an overtuned spot just ruins the game. People are so stuck on and afraid of the word nerf, they don't think about what that actually does and the context it is applied to.
technomancer is completely out of hands. The build is straight up broken. IF you buff everything to be broken, then there will be no challenge on anything..... Where is the fun then?
How can you tell if a weapon is a high damage number for its level? Is there a chart anyone has made to show what min and max firepower numbers are for different types of guns? Also if you do have a max firepower (let’s say level 42 Ar) will it go max as you level it up as well?
Yeah I kind of feel like weapons in outriders is not really in a good place even if you have a good Firepower rebuild I just think you're better off just a stick with anomaly based builds... The current weapon meta it kinda reminds me of warframe how a lot of secondary weapons are good but Primary Weapons such as sidearms severely needs a rework
Nick I got all the mods I am ready to go except the weapon. I cannot find a weapon with even close to the fire power with that roll. I am using The Reaper as it has the most Fire Power I can find and I got a decent roll with almost 90k. The highest Firepower burst i have seen is 81k.
Hey Nick, what’s your thoughts on using a weapon with Brain Eater and Embalmers Rage? It sounds like it’d be good for keeping your Blighted Rounds active since you’d basically not lose any ammo
Try putting in the mod that increases your weapon damage based on your regeneration in place of something like Dum-Dum. The bonus is a lot higher. I run it on tank builds where I stack a lot of health and regeneration. Just one regen gets me like +70% weapon damage. It would turn that dead mod on your rifle into a damage machine.
I'm way less informed than he is but i've been using this build for awhile It's about the turret spraying toxic on enemies, and applying toxic to as much as possible. The actual toxic isn't the damage dealer, it's the status effect of toxic that causes your firepower to do crazy damage, because of the point in the skill tree that gives you +20% damage against enemies with toxic. Plus some other bonuses that I can't remember right now. Trust me, it took me a while to fully realize this too haha
Yeah this build does look promising for the technomancer. However I still believe that sidearms and Primary Weapons do need a rework in this game.. I'm just saying if weapons were good in this game we wouldn't be relying so much on anomaly based builds for endgame content
So a little question for secondary character based on the build we know as to date which character do you think is good for endgame? Devastator? Technomancer? Or pyromancer? I am a trickster main I have the Edge of Time. Set I constantly make over 200 to 300 million damage but it would be nice to have a secondary character just in case people can fly decides to Nerf Edge of Time at some point
All those mods that work on kill shot or on kill feel like complete ass when you dont play solo. Wish they changed that to simply damaging the mob that dies so everyone can benefit from the mob they participate in killing instead of feeling frustrated because their ammo didnt replenish or their buff dropped off simply because someone else finished the mob. Not to mention they dont work if a dot happen to finish off the mob.
That's why I stopped playing this build. Even in solo sometimes that happens cuz toxic kills it or another dmg mod procs and kills it. It's frustrating.
Totally agree, and with the recent nerfs, I mostly don't get my killing shots in coop when the other players don't shoot at the elites at all but shreds all the creeps... now we got to kill 3 elites, the trickster can't regen hp and I can't regen ammo, the nerfs made a mag insufficient to down 1 elite in a consistent way in co-op, so everybody dies but me doing the less damage I can.
Your burst AR does 94.7K damage. I'm not sure people can get those kinds of numbers anymore. This seems to be a nerf they did. It appears that you no longer get an RNG roll of the total firepower, when switching variant to another variant...which is what was making the burst ARs do so much damage. You start with a very low level gun, and switch the variant...and if you got above a certain number, it would end up with those really high numbers. Well, I just did to Earthborn ARs, and the firepower did not change at all, on either one. So I think that is no longer a thing, which is going to make the crafting just not worth it, as it once was. Now, you will just look for Rare that has at least one tier 1 mod you want, with the attributes you want, or an Epic with a mod, and attributes you want, and go from there. But your damage is going to end up way less than those guns you are rocking, I suspect. Unless, they add in a way to get higher numbers. Right now, i don't see one. I suspect most guns will top out around 40 to 50K, now.
Try out the Pre-Order AR...this AR is the Strongest by Far compared to other AR's. Example: Purple AR have 1300DMG Pre-Order AR at the same Lvl have 1600
Upgrading in general is funky. Upgrading a green into a purple gives it better stats than practically any purple. The dlc AR coming with Bone Shrap and Crit damage makes it insanely good choice though
@@darksungwyndolin9977 Interrssting, i will try to upgrade a green AR at the same lvl to my lvl and to purple to see a diffrence. But in my Case the Hell AR have still ~300dmg more then every other AR.. i collect now serval AR's and change it to tactic mode and see a big diffrence between the diffrent manufacture of the ar...
@@terps710 Even if they didn't make videos it would have been nerfed. As soon as I got blighted rounds I was using it in a build just because I noticed how broken dps was. Not to mention it's stupid easy to make a half decent build with it so...
@@skullnsuit7808 regardless. No need to nerf something in a pve only game . While everything else is under tuned. They didnt learn from looters before them like divion and borderlands
Thank you for the information. I am at tier 7 atm and mainly play in team of three. Any suggestions for helping keep Blighted Rounds up other than using 2-3 ammo refresh mods? The scaling of mob health is so severe in multiplayer and not always landing the last bullet means it is hard to get enough kills to maintain BR even with LMG.
Hey nick, so I play path of exile a lot and when the words increased and more are used. More damage is multiplicative higher than increased. So I’ve been trying to figure out if outriders is the same. Therefore I’ve been using freeze a lot and instead of taking the assault rifle node and increased damage taken and increased damage node. I go down the health regen node and select the more damage node to frozen damage and the big node for 20% more damage to frozen enemies. The level 3 freeze perk and making all your abilities able to freeze. Is great. This output may be the highest of the more is correctly being used.
@@CutingTheEdge if it’s all the same then their wording is incorrect as they more and increased don’t mean the same thing. For example: Increased means it will apply additively, more means it will apply multiplicatively. For example, lets say you have 100 base energy shield. You have 20% increased energy shield from passives, and 30% increased energy shield from Intelligence. You also have 10% more energy shield from passives. Energy shield=100*(1+.2+.3)*1.1=165 Now if you also had 20% more energy shield from a unique item or something you would have: Energy shield=100*(1+.2+.3)*1.1*1.2=198
So I asked around about why the health pool varies with armors I had 14,000 on my epic set added three legendaries and now it dropped to 9,000 (I ran full firepower on everything) but now I’m was more squishy and it is vital for CT13 and above to have high health. Makes me not want to use my legendary plague sower set
I'm going to say this again...most of these kinds of videos are basing this off of having a lot of tier 3 mods, an occasional legendary weapon or armor piece, and especially one of those God Rolled weapons. Well, that's just not possible anymore, based on my experience. I'm currently tier 9 in Expeditions. Have no legendary armor, very few Tier 3 mods, and none that are listed in this video, but most importantly, you can God Roll anymore. The firepower no longer rolls when switching variants. THAT is what you people have used to get those insanely powerful rifles. My current gun has 32.2K firepower. Try any expedition you were doing, with an AR with that firepower. You don't kill anywhere near as fast, and thus, also take much more damage.
I wonder , what is the percentage of people playing (MAIN) technomancer , looooooooooooool , i have a feeling when multiplayer get stabilized ( servers) , we ll have teams of 3 technomancers all the time
Man I wish I could make an anomaly build on my techno that could do this without relying on weapon mods that have nothing to do with my build to do half the damage. I just don’t like the BR play style. Good clear tho
I have literally the exact same setup and my main gun is 94.4k power. How did you get 211k as ur base firepower? Cause mine is at 195k. Not sure what I'm missing 🤔🤔
For real the damage scaling of burst weapons, both smg and ar is way off, auto does such little dmg per shot, and single shot does less per shot than burst, you'd think burst would be middle dmg but it's soooo much higher than both other variants. they should either nerf burst, or buff single shot imo. I hope they just buff single shot and leave burst alone, but we'll see what happens.
Check gear, selects to dismantle, blue screen.. reload game check vendor, blue screen.. about to start expedition, blue srceen. Epic game play. Meanwhile let's nerf "classes" instead of focus on connectivity issues..
Hi, thanks for the videos, can you explain why I would use blighted turret with the mod which makes it inflict freeze, why not just use freeze turret ? I don’t understand? Also does blighted turret with the freeze mod mean it applies toxic and freeze or just freeze ?
I tried using the other ice breaker perk thats on weapons but it doesn't say it does aoe damage so I don't think that one does anything at all. Usually you find it on the legendary ice sniper.
Tactical assault rifles with any round build are broken, but the devs need to understand other builds need buffs, the game has only been out for a week and already the nerfs are coming?
@@jamesmonteith8617 because they have a higher damage output than automatic snipers plus you hit with multiple bullets at a time, the clip size is also bigger. Although they seem to have lower multipliers.
when you realize that technomancer was supposed to be the "SUPPORT" class , looooooooooooooooooooooool... When i played it in the demo , i said this is gonna be the most played class because it is too powerful
my friend is playing that and while he is not as optimized as I am he did 8million damage in an expedition while I did 80k...that class needs a buff but technomancer and specially tac variant rifles need nerfs
While I understand it's great to get loot I never understand the logic in getting it at the end of the game like these expeditions. I mean if there was a need in the middle of the game to grind for better gear and you could farm these places it would make sense but you finish the game THEN you get to do this and for what reason? You complete it so you can get 1 extra level to your gear but then do the next level up where the enemy is now 1 level higher.....You do that and you can increase your gear +1 but the next level increases etc up until you can no longer get another level and you are left just repeating the same maps in 4 minutes to get better loot you don't need just so you can say "I have them" and if for some reason you want to replay the story your weapons level is reduced level 45 because that's the max level for the story.
Where my Demolisher Technos at? I hate doing feck all damage wise while my teamates do the work, but after using the rounds for a week I'm so bored of them. Abilities are what make this game unique, now hand me my 10 shot rpg so I can 33% kill that captain.
So if my math is correct. Roughly 45 percent damage nerf to this build. 35% vulnerable down to 21%, 15% nerf to critical analysis and 15% nerf to a skill tree perk. Is it still good? I would say so! 4 shots to kill that final boss would now probably be 6 shots to kill. Still strong just not that disgustingly strong.
I've found that (at level 40), some mods to ~10k damage, but one shot from assault rifle does ~9k damage, so most don't seem to do that much. Are there other mods like "Killing Spree" which have more of an impact over many shots?
