I can help I actually made mine complex to hah I did mine on Pythagorean theorem I agh had mine turn out to be 14 mins I was like oh my what do I do? I ended up shrinking it to 6 mins and a few secs and for the application writing I used her tips above and they accepted within a day ahh I was super excited

I actually just recorded that few days back but it hit like 14 min I cant find anyway to cut it down i hope they accept that

I know they are SUPER picky about the application process and will immediately deny anything that goes against their rules of what they want and are very clear on what that is and I feel if they see a video that’s 14 mins long when they asked for 3-5, it would be an automatic disqualification from them for you without even watching any of it at all. I’m terrified to make a 3 min video, let alone want to make a 14 min one to be picked apart. I feel like it would be different if it’s one for teaching because the students aren’t watching to see if you’re ‘good enough’ like the application process is going to do for you.

@@Lacroix999Ahh update I applied sep 12 and got accepted in a few hours ahh so happy it was in round like I was quiet shocked myself I thought id get rejected here too, so I edited up cutting down the video to 6 min and a few secs I couldn't do anymore no other way to do so and they accepted it

@@maryammoeen2452 do you mind if I ask what kind of experience you have? I was going to apply a few years ago and asked on here back then if my experience was going to be good enough (it’s posted on my previous comment under this same video) and I never actually applied, but am thinking about doing so again. Just not sure if my experience is enough. My volunteer work mentioned revolves around working with kids specifically making art which also has to do with my college major and is also what I plan on teaching on that platform.

@@Lacroix999OH sure no problem that's actually great I wrote about my current teaching experience and and I worked at Kumon so tutoring experiences and I added my various other volunteering I did how I worked with kids, also the video has part of the application has to show you teaching a sample class, mine for some odd reason I decided to teach about Pythagorean theorem so it ended up to be 14 min. I was confused on what to do I didn't want it to be rejected so I searched on RU-vid people experiences specifically teachers I can send you my playlist I gathered while researching, and I contacted her though email and asked for guidance she said to trim it, as a youtuber and someone who makes edits on TikTok I have some experience editing, I can help you if you need. So I went down from 14 to 6 min ahh I was so happy I was like wow, I legit couldn't cut out anymore otherwise Id be cutting out content, I submitted and thank god they accepted.
