This comment section is a testimony to the level of immaturity in the scooter community. Olivia is an ambassador to female riders, something that scootering is in dire need of. It's clear she's dedicated to the community and understands how to put together a video that is a work of art. An edit is so much more than a rider's ability to go huge, and so is a sponsorship. If you don't understand why she's sponsored, stay in the game, educate yourself, and maybe one day you'll understand. This video was beautifully done, congrats Olivia
The filming was great and I love the style. It’s dope! I just wish there was more trick variety 1/3 of the clips were just some sort of manual bar combo and I think she is creative enough to come up with better lines
Lemme educate you niggas! Olivia monks has probably been riding longer than half of y,all been alive! She's been pushing herself in the industry, both as a rider, and also behind the scenes in companies. How long is it going to take for you kids to realise that riding and sponsorship isn't about how good you are? Yes there are riders that throw down, but in the end we all throw down in different ways. Liv has a knee problem that forces her to ride in a knee brace at times so she can carry on riding. Liv obviously has passion for riding otherwise she wouldn't be riding. She also worked with speak apparel behind the scenes trying to do what she can for the industry. Of the scoot she produces digital media for companies ,and well animated clips. Also as a girl with so much passion and so much to bring to the sport on and off the scoot , who wouldn't want to sponsor her? It's a shame half you kids are sleeping on passion vs skill level. Half you kids hating haven't ever inspired anyone in the sport, nor have you guys ever done anything to benefit the sport. Try actually do something for once in the sport, rather than standing around in your cuffed pants , hating on other riders, and thinking your cool cus you can full whip or barspin down 8 steps...
I don't care what anyone else thinks but Olivia Monks is the best female rider in the scooter industry right now. And she needs a pink addict deck that's her thing.
Y’all think she’s shit, she fucked her knee permatnley and so what if she can’t hit rails she’s still riding her best and having fun that’s what it’s all about, Olivia is a big role model to girls
fuck all these comments hating on her shes an actual og of girl riding and actually is probally the best street girl rider out there, go oliva! i've noticed that she's been lowkey with outset and im happy that oliva is offically on the team!
It’s great to see riders supporting our industry and counterparts.🙄... Fuck all of you haters. Olivia is a badass. She’s overcame a lot of shit, and is still one of the few female riders pushing street. A majority of female riders still stay in the park. Olivia has made some huge changes in her life and the fact that she has progressed as fast as she has in such a short amount of time while battling an ACL injury is amazing. Instead of being negative, saying she’s undeserving, look into everything she does for the community. All these kids saying “I can do everything in this video, I’m not sponsored so she sucks” can fuck right off. Your poor ass attitude is exactly why sponsors do not look at you. And I’m sure it’s even worse in person. At least Olivia knows how to present herself in a professional manner.
Clarification: she tore her acl in her leg a couple years ago and had to wear a brace for a long time. Some people after tearing a ligament would say screw it im done. But Olivia healed up and kept going! Your a soldier Olivia! You deserved it
I see all these comments about why is she sponsored. Well first she does a ton for the community, but she is also a great inspiration to other female riders I think. Like if a girl sees all these guy riders I can tell you that they're not going to be as motivated to ride or ride at all. And if you don't think there should be women riding and new people riding then you're wrong. It's hard to join a sport especially when it's dominated by the opposite gender. I think she should totally be sponsored. She is a true legend and is a inspiration to other female riders. Furthermore, it's not like she really bad.
Dan Knaggs how for his age and how long he’s been riding for he could easily make it to outset or tilt. You obviously haven’t watched his edit. Plus you don’t know the type of person he is so 🤷♂️
The amount of comments on this video already saying she's over rated, washed up and doesn't deserved this or that! If you ask me she's more an under rated for females in the scooter scene, she does have a nice style and does a lot behind the scenes from what I've noticed. Mad edit Olivia🔥👊🏻
