A Short Film made for The Scottish Mental Health and Arts Film Festival in association with Penumbra, produced and edited by "Lucy Derry Productions" with special thanks to all service users whom took part in this project
I thought the 3 people who were interviewed for this film all came over really well. It may not have been an easy thing for them to do, to put one's own story out there for all to see, but anything that improves awareness and reduces stigma surrounding mental health issues has to be a good thing. The film is very moving and makes one stop and realize that for many people, living with mental health difficulties is a daily struggle, but with the help of excellent services like Penumbra, these people will be given much needed support.
