I take nothing away from Jones' designs. They are just beautiful. I wonder how they will survive in the long run without considerable and constant maintenance on the wood portions that are exposed to the elements. It is sad that Jones and his partner Maurice Jennings have left us. They, together, produced some of the most beautiful and beautifully detailed architecture ever designed in Arkansas or elsewhere. There is little to compare with the architecture of Fay Jones.
