After seeing that bloody shin it immediately reminded me of all the times as a kid I ripped open my shins and knees on the old BearClaw (BearTraps)pedals from the 80's & 90's racing as nobody used clipless back in those days and the pedals were all metal and sharp as all hell. There were a few different variants of those OG pedals I'm sure a few old enough will remember. Couldn't tell you how many stitches and staples I've gotten over the years alot due to them pedals as padding was also not much of a thing in those days especially shin-pads.. It's amazing how many things in BMX has changed over the course of 3 decades.

Incredibly talented riders. Nathan always been one of, if not my favorite street rider. I live in Nashville so that helps lol. Colin is a freaking beast as well no doubt about that. Been running odi longnecks since mid to late 90’s (showing my age) and still have some red longnecks on my bike today. I’m down to try any of the new models out if I somehow get lucky. I also agree with a comment below…get Nathan on an upcoming podcast.

Love watching Nathan making the downside pegs look to easy!! I’ve had tens of pairs of the Odi Traditional style but the tan Hacker grips are rad. Hackers man. Talked with him a minute at Posh trails during the Mosh at posh. Right before my chariot to the hospital arrived. Ruptured my spleen on the Jam line 3rd jump in chillers.

We need more chill videos like this that just feel like a sesh with your friends. Really hits home for me. That's what BMX is about-- just messing around with your friends and being ridiculous. that down rail redemption is fire. a street version would be sick. juani is such a character all throughout the video, and the double shinner was really funny. getting kicked out and denying nathan was funny too. 2023 is colin's year with his new sponsors, cant wait for a new video drop. i've havent tried ODI grips which is basically what all modern grips are based on. that purple grip looks good, colored grip but not too light of a color to get too dirty on.
