Im 19, and after finishing college a year ago, I decided I wasnt ready for uni just yet and joined a Creative Enterprise course (art+business classes) hoping to get a little bit savy with promoting myself and having opportunities to exhibit locally. I was mortified when in business class we were using AI to create social media captions, ideas, monthly budgeting plans, everything! I knew going in that I would have to extract nuggets of useful and ethical knowledge from whats essentially a class teaching young people how to manipulate a consumer/customer base, but I was totally surprised to have my marked course work be AI generated! I didnt even have a chance to opt out. I have since become inactive on Instagram and pursuing exhibitions and markets has become that much harder because everything is on social media. Its a real shame, but I have hopes that joining uni this year will help me meet like minded people to create with apart from socials. Great video!
