I've finally received mine last week. It's fantastic. It has R16 195/55 Hankook tyres on it. It rides fantastic. Handling isn't compromised either but you still feel the weight on steering wheel at low speeds. But regen and instant acceleration is both relaxing and reassuring. Thanks for recommending it. It's a pity that we don't have the Mini App here in Türkiye due to some personal information storage restrictions. It would be nice to adjust aircon prior to departure and see the charge status. Yes, the rear seat space plus legroom would still be sufficient for small kids for long distance journeys but for full size adults it might get a little bit uncomfortable.
Hi. May I know how's the resale value for EV cars like this Mini SE in 3-4 years time, especially we know that the battery might not hold charge as good as it used to be by then? Is there an option to totally change a new battery for the car, and how much would that be?
Hi Loh, the resale value is a bit difficult to estimate at the moment as not many are sold in the secondary market. However, the car comes with an 8 year/100k km battery warranty. If anytime during warranty the battery capacity drops below 70% effectiveness you can claim the warranty on it. As for battery replacement cost, its about RM6-7k per module and there are 12 modules in total.
It’s really not practical. You’re only confined to places with EV charger, how to go to the places without EV charger? No doubt it’s a beautiful car but the range makes it not practical.
@@infernoelise I am from PJ and really serious about buying a Mini Cooper SE but I heard they are releasing next gen SE next year so I in dilemma whether to wait or pull the trigger right now
