Outta My Head | Khalid & John Mayer | Pomplamoose ft. Inara George 

I have loved Inara George as a solo artist and as half of The Bird and The Bee for a decade. They were a HUGE influence on our sound - Greg’s production, Inara’s melodies...I think I listen to their music more than any other band. Probably shouldn’t fangirl this hard, but this was a dream come true. And I can’t BELIEVE that I get to sing at her SHOW next week! Hypnotic. A simple tune, but played so smoothly by Pomplamoose that it actually calms me. Great keys, bass, guitar - and funky but understated drums. I’ve also always been a fan of the female voice, and Inara and Nataly just knock this into space. I CAN’T GET IT OUTTA MY HEAD. ❤️❤️❤️

Ear candy. This actually lowers my blood pressure. 😎 Superior vocal blend - Inara & Nataly are perfect together. I’d never heard Inara before; her voice is so soft and soothing. Thank you, Nataly and Jack, for broadening my musical horizons - and for giving me inspiration for late-night drumming and strumming. 😎🥁🎸

Oh my god I love The Bird and The Bee. When I saw Inara's name in the title I was shocked but she fits so well with the Pomplamoose sound. What an awesome collab. I'm hoping for more.

This is PERFECT except for one little thing: I enjoy seeing Nataly's mouth as she sings, and that pop filter obscures our view for almost the entire vid. OK, I'm being picky. So I'll balance it: Another appreciation for Ben and Caleb for the sweet production, and Tim and Caleb for the excellent audio. And to Jack, Nataly, and the entire band for amazing performances! The drummer should have funked it up with that high hat a tiny bit more. Don't be afraid of accents and skipping a few off-beats. The mind fills a lot of the beats in.It needed just a touch more of that funk. He needed to channel some bernard purdy.
