I absolutely LOVE watching Joe's innovation projects around the house. My dad is a mechanical engineer for Ford and has always been doing projects like that around our home ever since I can remember. And Laura's amazing skills for EVERYTHING has no words. Move over Giadia!
Hi,I'm here to give a bit of info on the nestle supligen. Its like an energy milk based beverage, which contains Actigen E and a blend of complex vitamins and minerals. Supligen is originated from the Caribbean region. And also helping joe with a lil pronunciation is su-pli-gen. By the way this is my first time commenting on any of your blogs, I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, I've just graduated from culinary school, and I must say laura u are the best, girl thank u soo much for bringing italy to all over the globe, I must say well done and thank u soo much. By the way hope the lil info was helpful to u guys and keep up the good work both of u, keep good. Later
I was just about to explain what Supligen is, but I saw your comment! I'm from Trinidad too! I laughed so hard when he pulled it from the shelf! Good explain Action!

Well that's it...it's final we have to have outtakes at least once a month now...don't know if I can live without them....sorry to add more to your ever growing list of commitments but hey just make it happen!
you and your dad had me laughing so hard I was crying, seriously identical to my dad and I. My dad's from italy as well, and its hilarious when we go at it exactly like you two. I love it.
That section where you found the Supligen looks like a West Indian/Caribbean section, the rose water is from a Jamaican brand named Benjamins and there was a Walkerswood jerk seasoning a few shelves below. Supligen is an energy drink, its milk based. It comes in different flavours. Hi from Jamaica Laura and Joe! TheVitales
Hi guys that drink is pronounced Sup-li-jen spelt, Supligen it's a Caribbean drink, Laura I want to thank you so much for the videos you're doing especially that chicken pot pie, I'm Jamaican and I am married to an American who loves chicken pot pie and I didn't know where to start until I watched your video, now I tweeked the recipe a bit to put my culture in it and I make a curried chicken pot pie, anyways waiting on your book in the mail and highly anticipating your video or book with Jamaican Jerk chicken. Keep up the good work and I'm tuning in.
Lol, Joe pronounced supligen so funny omg!! I'm originally from the Caribbean, and its like a sports diary drink that can actually replace a meal!! Taste great
Joe, Re: Grocery store, I lived in the Caribbean for several years after collegeand recognized all of those foods in the section that you were in. The section of the market you were in was the Jamaican/Caribbean foods section. SUP-LI-GEN is the equivalent of ENSURE here in the states...Its a nutritional creamy vanilla drink that has alot of vitamins and minerals.
when I heard collaboration I thought of Benji immediately and then you mentioned him and I freaked out! I've been waiting for a benji/laura cooking collab or lqura/judy beauty collab or maybe you two can do a beauty swap? an idea for laura and benji is to do a cooking swap where they give each other a list of like 10 ingredients and they challenge each other to make the best dish. anyways, I love Sal and laura together, always a good time :) and joe had me dying at mermaid meat
Laura can you and Joe recommend websites to buy plane tickets to italia? Maybe plane companies too! My family lives in lamezia and the last time I visited I was 7. My husband and I want to visit them yearly since we have my families' condo there. I miss them so much. TIA
