Seriously. Build an armour set is expensive and i am very very poor. I guess i should explore more. I had no issue getting past the Barrow but had to run past everyone to get to Berg (yes i left and came back for mana, now i think i will stay a while).
you can absolutly be a mage from zhe start. get some mana plus fire sigil. you done even need much 3-4points, spark is super cheap. all you need are firestones. and they are abundent in chersonese.
Dude you saved me. There isn't jack shit for content on this game besides a review some nerd did for likes. I didn't even know this game existed until a few days ago and its been out for 2 years lol.
This is a terrible starting build guide. Don't ever spend more than 1 on magic, until you actually have your skills. If you're going mage you want to go through ghost gate to the wind shrine to learn the like necromancy/shamanism style magic lol. There are also some much harder dungeons there that you can't do without at least most of your build. I would say 1000 to 2000 silver. It lets your get the important part of your build, making it easier to grind. It's also easier to make money in most of the other areas, and get more useful crafting stuff. Don't ever waste money on recipes, just figure them out, most are obvious. Money is basically your xp lol. Hoarde that crap until full build. Other than that, the rest is pretty good advice except the vendavel fort idea. Do vendeval as the story quest, you'll be much better prepared for it.
How about doing all this with a beginner character instead of one already wearing and carrying better gear? Hard to watch a beginners guide when you are just running thru it all real easy with an advanced character.
is really easy to say and even more easy when you already got the gear i run from serzio to the cave to get the heart already full bag and out most stamina burn lol
You make it sound like it's easy to just go through the section to get mana at the beginning of the game. Me and another person went into that entrance and are getting destroyed with beginner gear.
Honestly, as a beginner, I'd recommend the entrance close to the top. Go up the mountain. There'll be an area with a fireplace before you get to the top entirely. There you should see another bridge on the mountain. Cross that bridge and enter the Heroic Kingdom Conflux Path. You'll only face Troglodytes there (and an Ice Witch directly after you enter, but is killable with dodging) and a small lever puzzle to access the next area for the mana. It's imo an easier path than 2 Mana Mantis accompanied by the mage Troglodyte.
@@SwordKingsTV I know this is old, but that comment is disgusting. Let me get this straight. You make a beginner tutorial with some very brief advice. Then a guy in the comments is having issue following your advice. And then this is what you reply? That is so damn arrogant, it's insane. You don't have to flex how big you male genitalia is, we know you are better than us, that is why we are watching your BEGINNER guide to a game. If you are that good, give the man some decent advice, like, take the other entrance, or, make use of the npc. If it had been anyone else, then it would still be a douchy comment, but, they could get away with it. But you are the creator of the, let me remind you, BEGINNER tutorial. If you have a bit of brain, you know you fucked up. But judging by ur competence based on that comment, I don't have much hope.
"A few shield spells" and "nothing in the starting are to allow you to be a mage" huh? Spellsword, plus the wind shaman guy, gives you a BIG headstart. Instead of taking the shield spell from the Spellsword trainer in the starting village, take the one that lets you shoot the element of your choice from your blade. Reveal Soul (which you can get for free after getting Mana) combined with spark will refill your mana, and the conjure spell is super helpful when you find (or provide them yourself from bandits) bodies, giving you a skeleton/spirit for five-ish minutes that will tank and deal damage.
Spellsword, as a tree, is pretty weak. Most mage builds won't use it, and without using breakthrough points there is litte for you there. Cabal actually does, you are right about that one
This guy Outwards. But yes, Spellsword is better once you have better knowledge of the game. The Cabal Hermit is in almost every one of my builds tho - boon buff, and a spooky buddy? Sign my up, fam.
I left the starting area with 200 coins, a fur tent, full half plate armor, a fang greataxe, cookin pot, alchemy kit, some potion/food and two whole skills. Point is anymore than a 1000, maybe 2000 is overkill. Travel earlier and grind in better locations for better look. Ex: i went straight to monsoon first playthrough and got the Tuanosaur axe and silver armor and some combat training, in total about 35-45 in game days including sleeping a week at the reptilian liar at middle huge tree. Easy strat for a quick op two handed build. No mana needed, didnt need to join holy mission either.
I went straight to monsoon, got totally wrecked (couldn't even leave the area because I kept dying) Then, I seeked out Rune magic, now it's all dodge and magic mines.
If you llay your cards right(and depending on your build) you can leave the area with 3k coins, a horror weapon and some tier 1 skills by day 10. I like to do that so that when I hewd to the next town I can immediately buy some breakthrough skills without having to go through that area.
I think you suggesting to go thru the holy mission door and not the blue chamber door is so criminal to new players. There’s no way a new player can take on the 2 shrimps and 4 trogs even with the help from the knight. There’s a path that avoids a fights all together
I started playing the game recently, and I went through the door and used the a mix of traps and the knight to kill everything. I didn't even know there was another route until now, I think that path was fine.
Ha, i went to the top of the mountain and then found a door where i could skip most of the monsters. I need to revisit when i am more powerful......or bring a LOT more arrows.
actuly wrong clearing vendel castle come affter joning fraction u can go down there and get captured and u can escape jumping down the death hole but dont clear it be4 u get its quest realy recomended
This game get easy very fast if you overequip or have no problem with the survival aspect of the game, avoid exploiting money marking methods or similar, you will ruind your gameplay and makes it very short.
The game is rather short in general. I could beat the game in under I'd say maybe 3 hours possibly less. That's with skipping content of course, but even with doing every dungeon and clearing every boss, that's only maybe 1 day of work. For the average person who works a normal 9 to 5 they could beat the game in about 2 to 3 days depending on playtime and what there focus is. Sadly this game is mega short in reality, which is due to the insane freedom it gives the player which is both a blessing and a curse.
Woah thanks for that info just got the game and plan to play it through with a friend. I think I’ll just play this game without looking too much info and play it organically
Guys just get mana if u want to use magic cuase it's easy as beginner to clear or just run pass all enemy and go straight to mana place. Other than that all other things mentioned in video is just bullshit for a beginner character to do. Yea ammolite Armor is easy but i say just explore stuff and go to berg then come back being much stronger. U can go with 1k silver or around that, technically u can go with just 300- 500silver but there are skills in berg that u guys gonna miss alot. So go with atleast 1k or fck all that and just leave. It's your game do whatever u want.
No clue what money guide you're talking about. There's no playlist, highlighting outward alone gives 26 results and then there's 3 moneyguides. None of which are titled to be useable in the first area?
Should put the link to the videos you mention in the description :) Honesty thought i'd hate this game, but I've put in 20 hrs in like 4 days, and your channel has helped me immensely. Thanks pal, n good luck out there noobies
I watched this vid back in the day, started a couple new playthroughs these days, today im leaving the first area with 80 bars of gold :_) Without hobo camps in Defed I need to bring tons of money with me and buy everything i need on the way from food to skills and then after making my build start the faction quests otherwise the parallel missions will all go bad.
When you kill all in Vendavel before getting the Quest to rescue Cierzo from Vendavel, you cannot do the quests of the bosses in Vendavel. So is that really a good idea???
I find it easier to go through the door for the Blue Chamber Collective when getting Mana. Just follow the path lined with blue skulls, and get to the door. I recommend getting into Alchemy ASAFP; like before you even get out of Cierzo. Yes, it's pricey to get into; however, using an online recipe guide, and the cost ratio of reagents to products will easily make up for it.
Ok blue sand armour is way better and arguably easier to get than ammolite, blue sand is almost endgame tier and you can achieve immunity to all damage with blue sand and some buffs
So I farmed anmolite for the armor, but it says I need palladium, only location I could find for it was inside the mana conflux cave, which I cant beat the enemies in. Any idea where else I could find it?
@@SwordKingsTV okay, but in the meantine are there any other armors within Chersonese that you'd recommend I go for? Just to get an easier start in the next area.
here is an actual beginners guide: craft blue armor from the smith, needs blue sand and silver. craft fang axe or whatever for bleed effect, buy broad dagger. kill bosses with bleed, cheese everything else with dagger. make warm potions by mixing oil and water in alchemist kit, sell scraps and health potions in vandavel for easy silver. mine ore, gather fish, for a chanse of expensive gems. seekout all ornate chests for expensive loot. there you go. you can carry on with blue armor from begining to end no problem. this guy is a noob and is playng the game in the wrong way.
