I believe the flash onslaught only inflicts confusion

@@Si1verSummer Yeah, it does. It's Probe that inflicts both Pain and Confusion. However, Flash Onslaught is one of the few melee skills in the game that inflicts Confusion, which is why I used it in my Daggerist build. Sorry for any confusion caused (pun intended).

@@A_Potato_of_Infinite_Wisdom Im looking at probe and it says it just deals damage. I dont see any pain or confusion? how do u do it?

@@bobsteven2363 as you gain awareness, Probe deals different effects. At level 2 alertness, probe deals confusion, at level 3 it inflicts pain. For this build, you need to essentially flip flop between alertness levels to inflict pain and confusion with probe.

For anyone else who may be confused by the wording of my build: you open combat with either Puncture or Perfect Strike (requires discipline), which already deals good damage and opens the enemy up to 3x damage with opportunist stab (this is usually enough against regular mobs and bandits). If the enemy is still alive and won't go down in 1 or 2 more hits, follow up with probe up to level 3, which will inflict both pain and confusion and follow up with the 6x damage with the dagger. If the enemy is still alive and you need to finish it off, I recommend using either Puncture or Perfect Strike, followed by flash onslaught, which will inflict the confusion necessary to inflict 1 more 6x opportunist stab. Only bosses (and only particularly strong bosses) will still be left standing. This build is ridiculously powerful against single opponents, as you are able to set up very powerful combos, while also keeping you mobile. Instead of having to pull off chain attacks, you simply apply status effects methodically and wait for an opening to strike. There are a few weaknesses to this build, however, as you'll struggle immensely to kill grouped enemies and enemies that have awkward hitboxes (the Forgemaster is nearly impossible to kill with this build, as he doesn't remain vulnerable long enough for you to inflict all the status ailments in time and his minions will be a real bitch to deal with). I recommend this build while playing in co op, but if you play alone, I recommend either taking a lot of traps or bringing a secondary loadout to deal with tough groups of enemies (think of it as a traditional assassin build, very powerful while preying on single targets, but quickly outmatched by groups of stronger opponents).

He’s called the concealed knight. After you finish a faction quest there’s a boat in cierzo you can use to get to him.

sorry late reply,i use canon pistol coz it can inflict confusion and pain and they can't really dodge the pistol but if puncture can be dodge and it only inflicts pain so for me it's more convenient to use canon pistol.
