Yes wear a helmet and upgrade brake will make a big difference in safety see video for $30 plug and play brake upgrade ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jx17qqYm5EE.html
Ouxi v8 is good choice and comes with removable cargo rack see link www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCZ46D54/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_PV44TYNTHE9B9Q7D7QR3?linkCode=ml2&tag=brichsoluti0a-20
I’d truly appreciate this video watching it save me over $200 bucks for my local bike shop. Don’t know if I’ll watch your content ever again but I just submit. Thanks man.😊
What is the distance I can ride with it going 25-30km/h I just went to to la souris to check it out I couldn’t go 50 Km/h and on the website it says action radius of 80km in perfect condition so how long can I ride it on 25/km or 30km/h
Hello, im very interested in buying this e bike but speed is very important to me. Can I atleast reach 45km per hour on it? Does it need any hacks to acheive it? Can you recommend me bikes that also reach 45km ph? I'd apreciate that!
Yes its reaches 45kmh. Look for at my Ouxi v8 speed test video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2OsjKGnsNes.html. Here are some other bikes that are similar to Ouxi ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vCGjr9efc-E.html
Hello i live in holland i wanna buy a 750watt ouxi v8 from this video but in holland only 250watts is allowed and 25km and no throttle but i can ride 25 without throttle only the motor is 750watt. Is there a way police can check this? So cN the police check how many watts my bike is or not?
ues, change settings for amps (P14) to 5 amps making the bike 240 watts (48V x 5amp = 240W) . Change setting p09 or p17 to disable the throttle and make pedal only.
Do you know how to reset settings? Because i tried to make my ouxi v8 2.0 go 50km/h but i think i did something idk because when i pedal the assist starts very late compared to before i changed the settings idk what i did
Hey B rich! i live in belgium and here it is illegal to drive that fast with an e-bike, but would like to drive faster than 25kph, around 30kph approximately. How do I set this up properly so that nothing breaks?
@@BRichSolution Getting mixed reviews on the ouxi v8 dropouts. Gonna try to find someone who can make custom torque arms before I buy one, kinda scary lol. It's also really cool you actually use these bikes.
Hi Rick! Thank you for your videos 🙏🏻 I just got the Ouxi V8 and your instructions and recommendations were veeeery helpful! I was wondering if you could recommend a good rear rack option for this bike..? What is the best way to add storage to it, so I can ride with more than just a backpack? Thanks again for your advice!
Glad I could help. Check out my other video as I upgraded the brakes to bolt on hydraulic for $30 and stops in half the distance. As for cargo rack I am not sure about rack but you can see I added a small storage bag that fits between the seat and handlebars which hold a few objects and looks good. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XeLFq8LdKTo.html. If you want a large cargo bag go with amzn.to/3EbxBRy
Thanks for taking the time to answer 🙏🏼 Yes I noticed how bad the brakes are, I’m going to upgrade them. The rack situation is a little troublesome to me too, I want to be able to grocery shop, things like that. I’ll keep looking for a solution 😊
Your video makes the perfect step by step instruction for assembling an intermediate electric bike. When mine arrives tomorrow, hopefully your link was used, I will definitely refer to this video as I am assembling it. You can do so much following an instruction manual, which is probably in digital form because of this green thing, but even following the instructions to the latter, track of time could be lost when it does not have to be, but using and following the instruction manual and following your video makes for the perfect follow along guide for an investment in micromobility.
Yes hydraulic brakes is big improvement over stock brakes. Here is video of installing hydraulic brakes on Ouxi ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jx17qqYm5EE.htmlsi=dD6EqXc4iG5p-jZe
The red Dolomite is not the same frame as the normal blue Dolomite ru-vid.comUgkxTGiBQEtJDzdz-_LjtY9HyQZPzkg6s_L9 it seems to be a Hitch with Dolomite stickers and solid rims. This isn't an issue unless you are counting on the wider tire clearance of the original Dolomite. This can be hard to tell given the angle of the pics, especially on a smaller screen. The red version does have the welded seat lock of the newer Malus. If the red color is important and you're going to be doing the basic upgrades popularized on the biking forums and RU-vid; you would probably be better off buying a Hitch, getting the lighter wheels, and saving a little money. We ordered a blue and a red one and both of the bikes needed grease in the bottom brackets, hubs, and stems. No matter what, these are a great introduction to fat bikes and wrenching your own stuff at this price point.
I cant change the speed limit because it says that i need a password, but i dont know what password i should use to change it, please help me with that🙏🙏🙏
P10 setting is set to 1 or 2? was the motor working before and the something happened like it motor was in water? Are there any error codes on display as shown sect 3.5 of the user manual? drive.google.com/file/d/1DE8w6Enm_NsegMMGsMe9X2DW_rEvgfaX/view
@@BRichSolution No there arent any error codes. Is po9 or po17 supposed to be on 0, these settings have to be on 1 right? But I cant change those settings for Some reason.
@@BRichSolution I have the newer one with the m5 display but it wont go above 50 kph, or 31.2 mph. Even if I put in one of the dev codes, 8252, I still need another and cant find it.
Is this bike in class 2 since it has a ll the spec for class two if i dont mess with the setting and keep it stock am i allowed to ride it since im only 13 and my parents would like some confirmation.
No issues with the bike except i upgraded the brakes to hydraulic brakes that bolt on for $28. 50% better stopping see my other video. I had 250 miles on the bike and sold it to neighbor and he is really enjoying it. I might buy another one that is all black and 1000w motor
what class is this considered. do i need a license plate or insurance for this? and do i ride in the street with this as a car or bike lanes im VERY new and need to buy one.
Do you know or anyone knows how i can change the PAS sensitivy. It looks locked on 3 van i want to change it in the menu. I can't move it downwards or upwards.
And I bought it from la souris it’s a shop in the Netherlands that sells fatbike and stuff but idk if that makes a difference depending on the speed if it will go 50kmh if changed from display
If you dont mind can you do research if the crossboss fatbike from la souris can go 50 kmh if u change it from display cause I couldn’t find results I tried for days could u please maybe have a look if your free
Having trouble installing the front wheel aa the rotor disc doesn't seem to slide between the calipers! Any suggestions on how to solve this would be hugely appreciated!
Hey man, i got a new ouxi ebike it was working perfectly the past few days. But today i saw the back tire air pressure went way down. The leakage was from the valve. Ever time i move or touch it slightly it leaks air, any idea how to fix this issue cuz i don’t want to change the tire to be honest its new 😅.
@@BRichSolution Ur right!. Thank you for being professional and helpful to me & others. Im new to this whole e-bike world. u the one who influenced me to enter it and I’m so glad i did.
You could reach out to selling or manufacture and ask but the they will most likely charge you a lot. An easy way to add 2nd battery would be one that hangs from the upper frame; also easy to remove when not needed; link to battery: amzn.to/3Qqze4V You will also need a battery combiner to make operating 2 batteries thru one controller safe. Link to Battery combiner: amzn.to/3OjAwvO Connect both batteries CT60 connector to the combiner and the combiners output to bikes controller. If needed you can buy XT60 cable extenders: amzn.to/47f0WHK
Check the settings the Pedal Assist Setting PAS maybe set to off. P11 or P12 settings see manual drive.google.com/file/d/1DE8w6Enm_NsegMMGsMe9X2DW_rEvgfaX/view?usp=sharing
@@BRichSolution I think I got the 2.0 version my buttons are not connected to screen. It only does 15mph. I go to 08 and you hit bottom button see a big C. Then I changed it to 50 and don't know how to lock it in.
I don’t like flipping the e-bikes on handlebars as weight can break break switches on the handlebar or throttle housing… bit I suppose if you take care that would work
My OUXI V8 dual battery ebike with upgraded hydraulic brakes and rear rack arrived today I got the batteries charged up bike assembled and now it's pouring rain outside!
How many modes are there and does it have throttle and pedal assist? Because I’m mod likely going to buy this bike also from what height is it suitable for I’m 5”5 is that good to ride on this bike
5 pedal assist level. 5’5” the bike will fit you well. If you order from Aliexpress is will take 2-3 weeks to ship but is $100 cheaper than Amazon. Here is links s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeigkJ9 Amazon shipping is 7 days amzn.to/43vFBbh
Hi please help!! I have put the settings the same as yours an most I can get out of it is 18mph but I do live in the UK is there anyway to get the full 50kph???
Im sure the p settings are the same. Only ones that need editing is mph or kmh, amps and max speed. Maybe pedal assist throttle only vs pedal. See settings in manual. Link settings user manual: drive.google.com/file/d/1DE8w6Enm_NsegMMGsMe9X2DW_rEvgfaX/view?usp=sharing
If you upgrade the controller to 25A you should get more speed but range will decrease slightly as motor will pull 25A vs 22A. See video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eio8I__Cx7M.html
Hi! I'm anxious about charging, could you please elaborate on what you said about charging? Should I plug charger into the mains, switch the power on so electricity is passing through the charger before I plug it into the battery? If so, could you please tell me why? Many thanks
@@BRichSolution Thanks for the reply, I know this may sound silly to you but, is this while the mains plug power is on? Just I've had an electric scooter before, and I charged it that way, but the end of the charger would spark whenever I put it into the scooter..
The super73 Malibu is better bike but I’m not sure its worth 5 times the Ouxi v8. The super 73 rx is better quality, slightly higher max speed (31 vs 33mph) but the super 73 propriety 1200w motor that peaks at 1400w is impressive. But you can buy 5 Ouxi v8 ebikes and cruise around with friends for the cost of one super 73 and you’ll have more fun riding with friends then alone
