I'm Russian and I can say that they're really nice guys! They're just having fun during the interview as they usta jeering at reps in Russia all the way.They never take seriously all that stuff! They got a good sense of humour(esp.Ovie and Kozlov) although Russian language is too hard for foreigners to get that.Anyway, they're not the lamebrains everybody here used to think.And besides they love their Mother Russia, they're ready to fight to the last for it, they ain't no arrogants at all...

@wwDevichan That's what he meant, yes, but just the way he said it made it sound like he and Ovechkin had slept together in a sexual way. That's why the guys kind of laughed when he said it and why Ovechkin purposefully avoided translating using the term "sleep together." Also, there isn't really a word for roommate, you just say you share a room with someone.

Did any other Russian speakers catch Semin saying he and Ovechkin sleep together? Ovechkin didn't translate it back into English. I don't think he meant it in a sexual way, but Russians usually have pretty dirty jokes, not going to lie.

and ftr Ovie handled the situation beautifully. He basically agreed with him without putting the dirty connotations on it Sasha was. and Spashaei, I totally agree. He does act like it. Especially some of the comments he's made about women in interviews .....and other accounts of his abilities with snatching women.

That would be Semin. It's the Russian nickname for Aleksandr, so Ovechkin is "Sasha" too, but normally he's called Sanja by Semin and the others. Ovechkin is not really a "Sasha" like Semin is.
