This is the second part of the massive junkyard tour I posted last week, this junkyard has been untouched for decades as not many people were allowed into the property. So many muscle cars, classics, pre-war cars, and big American iron have been amassed onto the property and left to sit for many years. The new owner is cleaning up the property, so it worked out for me to document these cars before they are gone forever, and also I am trying to save some cars too from being crushed! I hope you all enjoyed this tour and make sure to check out PART 1 of the junk yard below!
Thanks for watching!

Great video Ryan thanks for sharing. Towards the end of the video you said that there was a sticker on the back window, I think that was a rear defogger you could buy back in the day 👍🏻

Yep tried, unsuccessfully to install one of those in a 76 Chevy Vega wagon, but it either was not installed right or the adhesive used was not good as it peeled away from the glass. Mind you, I helped my Dad to install it in my Mom's car back in the late 70's, and like most projects involving my father, I doubt the instructions were ever read, nor if read, well heeded.

Hey Ryan just caught this second part enjoyed it also I love these junkyard tours! The Chrysler In the beginning is a 64 Newport I learned to drive in one back in the 80's. Has the pushbutton automatic. I missed the 73 Pontiac in part one what's the chances this is still available? This place is awesome I hope that Charger in part one got saved. I still have the 74 I got my senior year in 86. Thanks again

I believe a minor correction, the Camaro kept its flat back window up through 1974, and had the exact same taillights as the mid 70's Monza fastbacks had and metal bumpers. The front grill was that soft plastic nose piece that remained more or less the same through 1977 as they all sported the metal bumpers. 1975-81 models had the curved back glass, but 1978 ushered in the colored keyed plastic bumper skins to match the nose and rear, known as Endura, and the taillights went tricolor in 78. Wikipedia helped me with the details. Behind that 63 Chevy Impala, is a blue 1968 Olds Cutlass, I believe. Does not look to be the Vista Cruiser, but the coupe. Saw a 1979-80 Ford Fiesta (imported from Germany) that was on top of an old Dodge Omni 4 door hatchback and behind it was I think a 69 Plymouth fuselage body (first year) and saw at least 2 Pintos, several Mavericks. There was a 1964 Chrysler New Yorker sedan, and the blue one that looks like it may be complete is a 1964 Polara 4 door sedan. We had the 64 Dodge 330 wagon based on that body when it was new and had it up till 1977, though it was fitted with the slant 6. Also, that Pontiac wagon is I think a 73-75, maybe a '76 Colonnade bodied wagon. By 1977-78, the front nose clip had rectangular headlights in them as the rectangular headlamps became legal in '76 so this is no later than a 75. This car is likely the LeMans based wagon. There was I think a 63 Buick, either the Skylark, or the Lababre and more that I won't identify here.

9:23 Pontiac LeMans wagon, 75 maybe? It has '75 grille inserts at least. '73 had a smaller grille with all vertical pieces. '74 had more of a waterfall style like the 76-77 Cutlasses. '76-'77 would have four square headlights (think Buford T Justice's cruiser in the first Bandit movie).

Really been enjoying these junkyard walkarounds. Drives car guys crazy like us. I also experience that kind of sadness in that you don't know what maybe half those cars are and or the signifigence of them, possibly how rare and how much desire people have for them somewhere. Well if not you, that is me because wow, there seemed to be a lot of amazingly odd stuff there! Those old trucks I think were the most interesting to me, but I don't really know much about them. Where to start!? My favorite was the '60 Ford 2-door - what a find!!! Right at the end, that Rocket engine is a MAJOR find! That property is a veritable gold mine of desirable classic rides, many of which can be saved and made road-worthy. I saw a 49-50-51 Merc AND Lincoln! TONS of Chevy and Ford trucks just begging for new owners - it's like going to the dog pound! I truly hope someone curates and sells these rides to eager buyers - it would be a sin to crush these cars with impunity. Simply put, just an awesome treasure trove of American steel and iron!!! you looked at a badly rear ended '67 new yorker and asked if that was the body that the turbine car was based on, the answer to that is, the 68 new yorker was created by a different designer, later than the turbine car, the turbine car, was designed by virgil exner, who was at chrysler from 55 to 63, the turbine car was gorgeous, chrysler had exner design them, they were then commisioned to ghia in italy, who then hand crafted 500, there were only a small handfull that werent copper colored, and they were white, i do believe none of those survived, and so, most of the other exner series early 60s cars were designed after IT! the 62 plymouth fury got exner uncerimoniously canned, that big funny looking blocky green chrysler that you asked what was, is a 64 new yorker, one of the last of exners cars, and WAS supposed to be the all new 62 imperial, i own a real one, and while it too is way far out, im glad it didnt look like THAT, theres a bit of history, and i left a lot out,

Nooo, leave the cars alone, they wanna liveeee ! (yes I know, nobody's gonna listen to me, but still must weep over them) 1:23 and later 2:20 - 1964 Chrysler Newport 1:50 - looks '68 Oldsmobile-ish ? Not my era really, taking a guess 4:53 - a '58, has fins going backward, not forward. Cool to hear about the Autronic Eye, sorry it got smashed over the head 5:35 - Ryan going high and low for our better experience of the filmed content. Appreciated. 5:55 - OMG OMG ! Bucket seats, AC, automatic, lots of money spent on this one. Someone had time of their life 7:18 - looks pretty solid and even that paint is quite decent. Definietly not stomped on like others. 8:30 - they were still doing grille guards for those ? Wow. Some accessories prevail. 8:45 - omg a '59 Olds ! Someone save it and take it on another trip to the Moon with those whooshing jet taillights. It has fins ! FINZ ! (smoll, but still) 10:18 - a '57, has no additional pod with ray-rings in taillight yet 10:15 - hey look, plenty of free tires :) 12:27 - omg omg ! Packard ! Shock ! They exist ! 13:26 - yaaay ! a '59 ! 14:48 and 15:30 - Geeez ! A '54 Conestoga ! What are you doing there, Conestoga ? Run away and live free ! Truly one of the last sights you'd expect to see ! (with grille pieces salvaged for customisation probably) 16:11 - '51 Mercury, the missing link between bathtub bodies and finned bodies - it does both. Tampered with like every "Cobretti's car" 20:00 - fins ! It has fins ! All hail fins ! (altough small ones, only by extension of fenders, those came early) 20:55 - the pilgrim ship that will land on Plymouth rock ! Sail ship, sail ! Save yourself ! 21:22 - that's defroster added later I believe, not the blown type but already with the modern type with electricity running through conducting paint and heating the glass 21:40 - a '54 judging by side trim and turn signals in the grille pods. Someone already took the rocket hood emblem, but still has the Oldsmobile planet on front

@ 5:30 is you were looking at the 1963 impala. If it was a true console car, it wouldn't have anything on the column. Auto or manual shift would have been in the console itself. Easy way to tell the difference between the 1964/1965 chevelle (without the front end) would be the script in the "Malibu". The 1964 chevelle Malibu script is more "cursive" than the 1965. The 1964 letter M curves out and the letter I makes a loop as the 1965 "Malibu" does not.

The Pontiac wagon is probably 75 to 77 in my guess. It was like 9 and 1/2 minutes in. Friend of mine had that in high school is a two-door flat on front like that and more rounded on back. Somewhere around 6 minutes or so they look like it was a lime green Camaro I'd be interested in that it cannot be a 73 unless they put a newer front clip on it. Has to be 74 to 77. 74 and 75 continue to square window on the back like the 70-73 body style had. 76 and 77 had to wrap around rear window like the next body style had. For some reason was more popular and other people books. 78 through I think it's 82 up to time they went that European style Camaro the door wedge kitt car on the Pontiac firebird version

@@IowaClassicCars Cuba and Iowa both are four letters long. At least up to a few years ago it was illegal at what we would call the federal government level in Cuba to export the old cars and parts much less crush them. I've got a couple of connections you have to be Cuban to ship this stuff in there as far as I know. Also got a Puerto Rican connection and that's important because they pay good money. This Cuban fellowship some to Mexico and from there they ship them to Cuba. They have less restrictions on things come in from Mexico. How do I know this just stumbled across it over the years. Once again it's a broken record but I do enjoy your channel and you going through the salvage yards. I still walk and that's a miracle in itself because according to the best of the best across the country Dr Wise my MRI says I can't walk and I'm a medical science mystery to them and I still after these years get calls emails from interested specialist. If they could ever fix what's broken in me she always say that away I'd be at the top of the list as far as they're concerned. Even with the injury I still walk but that's why I'm a little slower nowadays. So I do enjoy your salvage yard tours any other parts of your channels as well. Ain't no lazy guy that just got older and lazy and fatter for no reason. But when I say you go out there and do my exercise for me that's what I'm referring to. Correction, that Pontiac wagon is likely a LeMan's based Colonnade wagon from 1973-75, square headlights came in 76 and the front nose was more or less the same between 73-75.

@@johnhpalmer6098 you're probably right. I'll even say you are right. Memory gets a little foggy and I didn't Google it. You know I was texting with the host Ryan and he said they're all gone they've been crushed the guy did not want to do the auction. Even being cheap I saw about $2,000 and money I'd spent if the parts were offered. And what I wanted when I mount it to $200 in scrap iron weight. But the cars belong to the owner and at least we got to see them. The owner has a right to do with it as he wishes. You know subletting that place out just the sale of the parts can honest person with made both that person and the owner his friend a lot of money parrot That's our $300 steering wheel in there. Several fenders worth a couple of $100 a piece. Heck at 164 I was gladly bought some more sheet metal off of it. I found a 64 Impala two door hardtop shell and frame only sent it to Ryan and he said boy those cars are really rough. But they've been in junkyard for what since it is 15 years old. Floor pans and trunk pans by them the bodies straight before long you find some decent sheet metal to hang on to it like doors and you got yourself something that looks like a builder worth something to somebody. Besides it's kind of fun to rescue these things. Haven't heard back from both have found a 60 Chevy coupe along with the 60 Chevy wagon and they have been to the junkyard yet anyway I'm rambling now just a little disappointed that it was an opportunity to buy whole cars or parts.
