Boulder dash and I Gold Prospecting with a Dry Washer ( Keene 151 ) and metal detecting , (Minelab Gold Monster 1000 ) to find gold nuggets in Arizona. We found 22.4 Grams of gold total. 6.8 grams in pickers and 15.6 grams in fine gold!
Made it out first time this past weekend with my drywasher. These videos definatley make a difference in motivation and getting it done right and solving issues.
Oh I see. I had the same problem too. All of a sudden my rocks stopped moving. I thought maybe the fan vibrator stopped working. I opened the riffles tray and it was packed with dust. I had to make the blower hose longer again to prevent dust getting inside the box.
Hey I have an idea. Bring some spray paint and paint over the surface layer of the bedrock with a real quick coat. Then go through and break it all until there is no paint left attached to the earth. See how much you get from that additional step. For science!
Back bending work. Very few people can do what you do. Rare breed of man. Plus the amount of time to make these videos for people to acquire inspiration. Man.... keep it going. People like myself have shovels but we usually use them to bury ourselves.

Nice pile guys! I just moved to Kingman area about 2 months ago...got family in Prescott, gonna do some gold bugging and scouting in the next month. Can't wait to find my first picker!

Good point,the s model keens I had the gold was always in a corner probably from over vibration.I would love to find an old regular 151 instead of all that loose dangly crap attached to it like the s..awsome guys😁
To much vibration and or air flow. Also they need to be levelled with a small hand level , not by eyeball. These are critical things to know. Boulder dash and I have run thousands of buckets ....

There`s nothing in those tailings. Even if there was , there`s nothing we can really do about it. When your dry washer is catching almost everything in the first 3 riffles. Not worried about it at all. I should be more worried that a big nugget going over the screen, and that probably did happen.

Thats some awesome gold Adam and Boulder. Do you guys run all your overburden buckets through the drywasher? At work we have an industrial vacuum truck I have seen suck the chrome off a ... well you know what I mean.. :)... Everytime I see that truck in action, I envision what it will do in the goldfields.... congrats and great video...
Yes we run the overburden if it pays. In this case there was 2 pay layers above bedrock so we needed to run everything. We will scrape off blow sand however if it seems doable without losing gold. Those Vactor trucks would be awesome in the right situations for sure ! Thanks for watching Dave ...
I doubt if anyone was paying attention but I hope they saw that TAILINGS PILE 😳 great video but it doesn’t show the extreme effort that you both had to exert in 100+ temperatures to get that much dirt moved 36 hours of work and another day spent setting up and taking down which is the hardest part after your already beat from prospecting. that would destroy most people for sure .damn good job Adam and boulder dash 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 hats off to you both you EARNED every last spec. Thank you so much , and yes that tailings pile is massive ha ha .....a lot of people think they can hang ....I just wish I had a couple more days off...would have been a couple ounces
@I BRAKE FOR BEDROCK it will still be there when you get back I usually wish I had another day off to recover after prospecting instead of going right back to work lol P.S. your not considered whimps if you spend a couple hundred dollars on respirators you’d be surprised how much better you’d feel after feeding the dry washer if you wore one. That dust zaps energy quickly 👊🏻

@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK ahh I missed that. Lots of dry washing done here in Australia too as water is sometimes very scarce. It's awesome that there are so many methods to find those shiny rocks!
Seen many snakes or rattlers? Just curious it seems like less are around since the drought years but I'd like to know how many you encounter. I never see you wear chaps, maybe we just have more in California? (I doubt it.) Thanks for sharing your adventures!
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Thanks I see you photographed some in earlier videos, apparently around wetter areas. I never used to bother either but I always carry a snakebite kit; my cousin was bit stepping over a crevice so now I'm more wary. Have you ever tried any dowsing rods, or other 'detector tools'? My dad found some Pink palm corral in the Bradshaw area but it was too heavy to lug out. Happy trails.
@@legalbeagle6860 I have used dowsing rods to locate utilities on occasion, but I think were finding gold pretty good without them. Always good to be cautious with the snakes, and guards are a good idea. Yes, I do see them maybe once every 3 or 4 trips

How do y'all know which wash is ok to go prospecting and digging in without being on someone else's claim? Do you get a particular land management map or what...? Who should I contact to be taught what all I need to know the right way???
