Over 200,000 lbs. of deli meat recalled in listeria outbreak 

And it's not just meat. Salads and vegetables were recalled. Salsa and guacamole, recalled. Cheese and nuts, recalled. All for listeria. There's obviously a big issue with our food safety.

I don't understand how Boar's Head became so popular that it is in every store now. They have never been that good. How is this not considered a monopoly?

This is just the food the manufacturer was willing to recall. I do not trust food manufacturing at all. As ppl become more stupid the less I trust anything they do. These minimum wage employees do not care at all nor do the companies. Very dangerous situation.

So, now all I can think about is: how long ago was it, that I bought deli stuff? I know I have been to Schlotzsky’s, but I do not believe they use Boar’s Head. Yikes.

Not a coincidence I was in acme 2 weeks ago and I noticed they got rid off all the other brand lunch meat expect boars head and I asked the worker I said oh yall only sell all board head lunch meat now he said yea I thought that was strange cauS just 3 months ago this acme sold just about every brand name lunch meat u could think of..They even stopped selling Dietz and Watson I thiunf that was strange but what was even stranger is the next day I was doin instavrt and had a order at a giants and had to go to the deli for lunch meat and how it ironic all they had they’re to was all boar head lunch meat and a few store brand name lunch meats…something strange is going on on They’re still selling it till this day litterally none of the stores have stopped selling it

Boars head was always overpriced garbage.

Instead of destroying it, I would gladly take some off of their hands for free. Listeria is easily killed by heat.
