Your knowledge for only being in the hobby for four months or so is impressive. That us a difficult task to name all of those. I had mbuna for years but they can be aggressive. Started with peacocks in another tank and enjoyed them as well. Havent had any haps yet. Nice to see you integrate all 3 types together. Hopefully you can keep some tank harmony. Having a good tank boss helps. Enjoyed your video, tanks are beautiful.

Enjoyed the video. I have several of the Tanganyikan fish mixed with Malawi fish. I think the Tanganyikan fish add personality to the tank. I really enjoy the Julies, I think they have a lot of personality.

Great fish the only thing i would say mixing mbuna with haps and peacocks not a great idea first diet is different and mbuna tend to be very aggressive and will kill over time. Its not a stead fast rule for all. like the acei is peaceful and some others. Not criticizing you just i have been keeping africans for over 40 years and thats been my experience. Great selection though. Take care brother.

How do you keep the sand substrate clean? It seems i end up vacuuming some up and don't get all of the junk out when I try. I gave up on sand and went to gravel.

Hah funny enough I found the remains of him in a pvc pipe in the tank that was attached to a bulkhead for draining the tank. He got himself deep into it and couldn't back out I am guessing. Stunk terribly. Did a huge water change.

Do you have your tank in front of a window? I was considering relocating mine in front of a window that would allow more natural light but not direct sunlight.

The CAE is no loss. Horrible creatures. Beautiful community you have. I do foresee serious problems in the future with that mixture, though.

The big one is a 135gal acrylic tank. The smaller ones were 75 and 55 gallons. I have since upgraded the 135 to a 210 gal. Need to get a video posted soon...

You have 2 aquariums.. why not make an aquarium with only tanganyika and one with peacocks and the mbuna and some rovers. It will be better for the fish. But you have really nice fish two.. a shame with the colour of the ngara. .it's a really nice fish on colour. Keep it up! !
