Hi 👋 Mandy 😊 I discovered the Elemis Balm a few months ago when it came on my boxy charm box. I’ve only tried it once ( since I haven’t really been wearing makeup) and I loved it… it was so easy to use and remove.. I too can’t be without my Retin A, like you I’m 41 and want to look as young in my 50s ❤️. By the way, been loving all the frequent videos you have been uploading.

I just can not stop saying how thankful I am that you are back. You were the first Influencer that I watched and subscribed to when I decided to start doing my makeup again. I am so grateful for your wisdom. I actually put my Curology on and under my eyes. But like you said that only happens after a very long time of using the product. My all time favorite pm skincare is Osmosis! Fortunately for me it has worked wonders for my acne prone akin. I’ve tried many other skincare brands and this is definitely my favorite! I use Truth Treatments in the am with the NRGY tool. I’m 67 and these have been my all time favs!

Omgosh, I literally get giddy when I see a skincare routine video from you!! I love all your recs and actually use several of the same products. I have been loving Alastin also! I just ran out of my eye cream and am trying to use up others but I miss it! Have you tried the new Revision eye serum? I started it about a month ago. It’s supposed to help with fine lines under the eyes but I haven’t noticed a difference yet. Anyways, thank you for this and I’ll stay tuned for the am routine! ;) xoxo

I really like the Elemis Thousand Flower Mask. I'm going to get the balm, eye stuff and oil. It is that time of year where I need some xtra moisture and hydration. My fav PM products are all of them LOL Bioderma Micellar water, Jordan Samuel Cream Cleanser, Paula's choice Resist Hydrating toner, NeoGenLab essence, Clarity lactic acid (non tret days), Osmosis Rescue, Mists, NeoGenesis eye serum, Sente Defense moisturizer. Great video!

Hi! You missed a step with the cleansing balm.After you've applied it all over your face, you're supposed to wet your hands with lukewarm water and massage your face. This way, the balm will transform into cleansing milk that rinses away. Finally, use a damp cleansing cloth to pat your face dry.🙂✌️

I’ve been using Medik8 products in my routine. I particularly love their Hydr8 B5 Intense serum, C-Tetra Luxe and Crystal retinal 10. The first two I use in the morning, and the retinal in the evening. I can easily purchase them from Cult Beauty with free shipping. I love Osmosis but the shipping from US sites is usually high, but I’m sure I’ll try it again sometime. I haven’t tried a lot from Elemis, only samples, but it’s a brand I like the sound of. 🥰

I agree about Osmosis. It did the same thing to my skin. I did try Rescue based on your recommendation. I do like it. I want to try Cureology, but they don’t ship to Arkansas so I will stick to my .5 Tretinoin until something changes.

I’m still peeling from my Curology….love it but hate the peeling. I lowered the % too. Any recommendations? Do you notice a certain moisturizer or oil that can help if used after? Your videos are an escape and love it.

Yes! The Fit Glow Cloud oil ( www.freezecobeauty.com/products/fitglow-beauty-cloud-collagen-oil?_pos=4&_sid=0c09777e8&_ss=r ) worked wonders for me when I upped my % and transitioned with that and the cold weather last winter. My code "MANDY20" works for a discount too. I love so many oils, but this one is the one I noticed the most difference in helping my peeling.

Does the osmosis rescue give instant results or did you notice the redness go down after using it for a period of time?

My dermatologist recommended a compounding pharmacy and they have compounded my Retin A. I’ve been thinking about just getting the Retin-A from a dermatologist and mixing it with the Truth treatment vitamin C balm and/or truth Treatments omega six balm. I was just wondering what you think about those combinations. My compounded Retin A has hyaluronic acid and niacinamide in it.

I think you would be fine to do that for sure. It will dilute the strength a bit of the retin a, kind of like a buffer when you mix rather than put on by itself, but a lot of people do it that way and love it. :)

I was so excited to try Curology but as I live outside of the US they’re not licensed to practice here. 😢. Do you have any issues using Tretinoin and the Alastin Skin Serum together? I had contacted Alastin and they told me not to use them at the same time…

Bummer! No, I have had no issues using both in the same routine, and I have used them both together for over a year now. I do wait to let the Curology dry down, but even on very rare nights when I don't have time to wait, I have had no issues. :)

If I am using a moisturizer that I just want moisture from and doesn't have any actives in it, I will use it directly under moisturizer. If I want some actives from my moisturizer, I will let that sink in for a few minutes, and then apply the Defenage. :)

I think they will say you do, but I don't always. I used a whole bottle of it, and now I just use another mist and haven't seen much of a difference in effectiveness.

I have heard a lot of others say that. I haven’t had an issue only slightly pumping it and getting a 1/4 of a pump, but I can see how it could cause issues.

I would definitely recommend some good exfoliating products. Kojic Acid is great for hyperpigmentation. Mandy, what do you think the Osmosis Rescue does for your skin? I use Curology (I'm at .04%) and despite my combo skin I still peel pretty badly. But I can't use too heavy moisturizers becuase then I get oily. Do you think the Rescue would help with that?

I find it calms my skin, helps with redness, and definitely tames breakouts when I have them. It strengthens my overall barrier really. I am not sure if it would help with peeling, but helping to build up your barrier definitely could be a benefit overall.
