I only got ten right on this one. Pretty much have never heard of any of the others. Also didn't know a lot of the actors. I think I have seen maybe two of the ten I got right...maybe. But I would like to see A Wrinkle in Time. Loved the book, but didn't much like the first movie version, so maybe I'll check if my library has the newer one with Oprah. Thanks, Carole. ♥
@@carolesquizzes Well, I watched A Wrinkle in Time last night. It was interesting. I definitely liked it better than the first one, but they really did change a lot from the book. So, it was okay, but not as good as it could have been. Yet well cast, I would say. Of course, I love Chris Pine. ♥
A fun and enjoyable list/test/quiz, but not as restful as others, I blame me. Waiting to see your quiz tomorrow, 'May da fourth be with you, always'. thank you.
I'm so sorry for not doing a Star Wars quiz - I was visiting family for the Bank Holiday weekend and it completely slipped my mind. I am a BAD quiz master 😢😢😢
Happy to say I haven't seen quite a few of these. Of the ones I have, I'd only disagree with Glass and Prometheus; I thought they were both very good. Gravity's special effects were excellent but must've used up the whole budget. I actually paid to go and watch Last Action Hero which had a brilliant premise and absolutely nothing else - overhyped is being kind.
I'm with you - I enjoyed both Glass and Prometheus. Gravity just bored the crap out of me. Last Action Hero, I've never seen it but hubby put it forward for exactly the same reason you just said ❤️
@@carolesquizzes "hubby put it forward for exactly the same reason you just said" He and I obviously think alike which makes his dislike of Monty Python crushing. Crushing, I tell ya!
Well, as you say, not all of them are bad, but you certainly picked up a number of disappointing films. E.g. Mortal Engines is a good read (at least for me it was), but the film fails to engage the viewer. Some of these films are just pretentious tosh.
Carole! DaVinci code? Have you read the books though???? Blair witch...TOTALLY AGREE! Glass, I watch because it's part of the series but they kind of ruined it with that. Hubby says same with the star wars prequels. He also wants you to know that paranormal activity was not overhyped, it was terrifying 🤣🤣🤣 He's a wuss!
I did read the books and liked them - but, for me, Deception Point is Dan Browns best book. I hated Blair Witch - it was just sooo boring. Glass, hubby loves that one and all of Shyalamans movies. And he said about Paranormal - quote - "tell him to put his big boy pants on, because a rat in the attic is more scary than Paranormal Activity. And more interesting" 🤣🤣❤️
@carolesquizzes The books were definitely WAY better! Same with Angels and Demons and I've read that three times! But I did enjoy the movies. Blair Witch...YES! TERRIBLE! Glass is the end to a good trilogy but definitely the worst of the three and a terrible ending! Funny story, paranormal activity was a movie I wanted to see, we'd been dating about a month. He said SURE and nothing else. Little did I know till later, he didn't sleep that night and not much the next two either. He HATES scary movies and never told me! Almost 15 years later and we still laugh about it
