Sum 41 was a pretty special band. In an era of pop-punk power chords (not that there’s anything wrong with that style), their guitar playing really showed their metal influences. I always appreciated how their playing was different from bands like Blink, Good Charlotte, NFG....

The intro is my favourite part of the entire song, lol. :-)

@AbeLincolnProduction yea its different..the one that slides all the way up is on frets 9 and 10. and the one thats more near the headstock is frets 4 and 5

@oRteP no its just a harmonic. lay your finger gently between the 7th and 8th fret. not pressing down but touching the string.

You are using the Blue Snowball Mic here right? If you are, i'm just wondering how you get it to sound that great. When I use mine the quality is great but it sounds way to trebly.
