Over One And A Half Thousand Trees Are Planted In Matterdale By The Tree Council And Another Way 

Friday marks National Tree Week and to commemorate the occasion, one teenage climate activist has began the planting of 1700 trees.
The trees come as part of a grant from the tree council and together with Amy Bray and pupils from a local primary school, work began on the planting in the morning.
We went along to the site where the trees will be placed to find out more about the project.
