It’s become my own tradition to watch Over the Garden Wall once every fall season. It’s very beautiful and melancholic. I wish we could have more, but I’m so happy with what I got.

Over The Garden Wall is one of my most favorite CN shows of all time, in fact this video is literally the first piece of new OTGW content made in years.

Already watched the whole series, and I loved it. And I loved this video, neat info you got for this video. The only way I could think of for this show returning is that it focuses on a new main cast exploring the Unknown, kinda like how most speculate how the next season of Infinity Train is going to be. Since it felt like Wirt and Greg's story feels done for the most part, with some of the recurring returning Great video overall 😁👍.

I swear there were more episodes. The school episode was much longer, and it was split into a few episodes. I vividly remember an episode where wert agreed to babysit an old lady's kids, and ended up wanting to stay, despite Beatrice constantly saying she had a bad feeling about the house and that they should leave. Beatrice ends up being shut out of the house. Something happens, and the family's faces start melting and something else happens and wert leaves the house. There were a few episodes about the woodsman's daughter where she's in like this other dimension and she has to collect firewood to not die from the cold or something. She lives in the same house, the same woods, but nobody's there exept her. Beatrice and wert end up liking eachother. There was another weird town, I don't remember much about that one. I just watched it again and it feels so rushed, so much less fleshed out than what I remember. Wert was a huge jerk sometimes. Like as the story went on, he became more and more of a selfish jerk. It was like his regular self was peeling away from the stress he was going through.

Ok i what to ask any people here if they also remember an episode where these two little girls are telling Wirt that if he doesn’t do any of there chores he will be punished by father. Then Wirt try’s to do the chores and the sisters keep saying to do this or that bad thing, which gets him in trouble, and when he try’s to stick up for himself. They either say stuff like no you buffoon you do it like THIS. Or NO why did you do that, we told you to do this! And I can’t remember the end but it looked a lot liked the girls in the comic where Gregory is standing menacingly in the corner. If you read this pls tell me if you remember this episode because I know for a fact i never read the comic as a child. But now I feel like dude from mad love. So pls help me

Loved this video over the garden wall is my favorite miniseries to the point where I got myself a big ass tattoo dedicated to it that covers my whole forearm and more. I also own two art books like a weirdo

honestly having more of the show would be nice but i would never want more. the way and length it is and perfect and you never feel bored and once it ends you’re satisfied only after a short time period.

4:06 “A twist that has not aged very well”?! No! That is an amazing twist, a modern take on the Beauty and the Beast in a sense, as however instead it is the beauty that is the beast. I think it would have been amazing, and personally I think I might try my hand at trying to rework it into a short story. I think kids would have enjoyed it as well, given how kids these days haven’t seen a lot of the old Disney features and haven’t read the source material for them. I think giving them a new take on an old story would give them something to love as much as the old is beloved. I simply do not care for this regressive attitude that has overtaken many an industry. Just because you choose to judge a book by its cover does not mean you should force others to do so as well. Or to re-word it, just because you dislike something doesn’t mean that others can’t like it. And it’s exactly because of that, that this lesson must be taught and learned. I detest how people wish to erase and discard that which “offends” them and their sensibilities. Has 1984 or Fahrenheit 451 not taught you anything? Censorship is something to be avoided. And as a wise person once said, “I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” Children and these childish adults must be taught what consequences will come about due to their actions. Philosophy, artistry, and the commerce of words must not be allowed to be stifled and censored. As if you do that may very well lead to disastrous consequences, perhaps even the death of civilization and humanity as it is known. You must learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of the past or else you will be forever doomed to repeat it. And those who wish to erase the past and force us to forget, wish to repeat those same mistakes that have already cost us much. I fear we are on a dark path, and that those who control the narrative and peddle in lies and deceit have taken control from the shadows. They wish to destroy us and all that we have learned, freedom dies not with bloodshed and the sounds of battle... But with thunderous applause and the desire to “change” or the desire to “progress” as in their “progressive” stupor they forgot, or perhaps have chosen to regress instead. You don’t learn by burning and banning, that is how you forget. And sadly for them people don’t forget anymore, as we have this little thing called the Internet. You can ban us and censor us, but that won’t stop us. Freedom is worth dying for, and I am ready and willing to do so. I will plant the seeds of a tree whose shade I know I will never be able to sit in. Are you willing to do the same? Or will you simply put your head down in the belief that if you do so, you and those you cherish will be spared and no harm will come to you. That is your folly however, as they will come for you. They have no qualms with getting rid of those who may dissent. You will be a liability, a loose end that must be taken care of. They spare no one, not even their own. And I ask you, is that a world you wish to leave for your children? Where the sins of the father can and will be used to punish to son? You must make your choice, I won’t be there to defend those who wouldn’t do the same for me. If you make your bed, you must lay in it. I have no sympathy for those of weak mind or of weak will, while I do understand your plight. I don’t however sympathize with your decision, but it is yours to make, and I just hope you don’t make the wrong one.
