It's Pottsfield, and it's built around a potter's field, where lost, poor, and unknown people are buried without a proper funeral or respect. Their community is celebrating in the show. It's funny that they have a maypole, which is used in spring in a festival to celebrate life. Since it's used in the opposite season, I figure they're using it to celebrate their death. A ribbon to wind thy soul and to bind love to thy breast. These people, whose lives were likely sad and miserable to have wound up in a potter's field, are given a sense of purpose and home in Pottsfield. It's a place of mercy and rest. Considering that they refer to Pottsfield as holy ground, I'd definitely call it a heaven. My personal headcanon, the deceptively nice cat that piloted the pumpkin thing, which seemed to direct everyone in the festival, is the caretaker of Pottsfield. He was certainly was the judge or rulekeeper of the place. I think the cat was an actual angel who guarded these lost souls. Angels have been described as taking the form of animals. My two cents.

@@rame.8690 trust me these songs are So beautifull but REALLY hard... for my own, i started the cello 3-4 years ago and am just now starting to play the prelude (frome over the garden wall) i mean... the arrangement is really hard to underatand and to play so all i can wish you is: Good luck, and never give up of it please you to play it ^^ 😘
Anytime I hear any music from this show, it's just like all my happy memories from fall or my fantasies of fall come flooding back. I'm going to start watching this show every October from now on. That music is just so dang chill and nice and bitter sweet and I love it.
Idk why but the first song sounds like a single father tiredly getting up in the morning to take care of his baby. It sounds bittersweet but in a beautiful way, you know? Like he had lost the love of his life but now he's got something to take care of
To me it sounds like fun and good times that have been lone forgotten. Kind of like when you play as I kid and have so much fun but...then you forget those good times.
For me, I've always imagined an old countryside path, like the one leading to Pottsfield. I imagine there being an old western town surrounded by beautiful fall trees and vibrant green fields, the dusty trail lined with old, white fences. I love your idea, though!! It sounds so sweet!! :)
The first track really hits me cuz it sounds like those music tracks from the movies your parents put on for you when you were a kid. You know, those old cartoon movies and Disney movies n stuff. They all had this aesthetic i swear
it's the 7th day of october and I've listened to this probably 2-3 times a day since the first day of autumn. as a architecture major who has projects on top of projects and deadlines every which way, this video gives me so much joy. thank you
yeees! i just finished it yesterday and i’m already missing it )): we don’t have autumn as to where i live but months like october up to december are pretty chilly here so it’s still a good time to rewatch it. gonna make it a tradition to watch it during oct ig 💗
Thank you, this came to me just at the right time! (processing some difficult feelings and memories) I wish everyone here a good time and to keep enjoying beautiful things like OTGW
bro.. i really love this sountrack, i show it to my aunt and she say thi´s was a beautifull music (just because is piano and she really like piano music), however great job my elegance madam
THIS IS WHERE I LIVE NOW THIS IS AN ATCUAL PLACE KINDA!!!!!! IT LOOKS LIKE IT I LIVE IN OVER THE GARDEN WALL IT EVEN HAS A WALLL NEXT TO IT AND HAS A TOWN NEXT TO IT I LIVE IN THE WOODSMAN HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!
I have a very specific vision of how I want to live my life one day, should I have the means to do so. It's a nice, cozy little idea, a warm one with simplicity all around. This music suits my desired lifestyle perfectly. Ah.... How I wish I could live the way I want to.
Why does this sound so soothing and at the same time make me feel like its a show with dark story despite its nice calming visuals? Just a guess from the first song
Ah, you're not wrong. There's certainly a dark, sad tone to it at times.... but overall, it's a wonderful experience. I _highly_ recommend watching the show for yourself. You'll be changed forever. :)
@@TheZiiFamily Oh, you didn't know? Yes, it's a wonderful TV show!! It aired on Cartoon Network back in.... 2014, I believe. There's 10 episodes, all relatively short. You could easily watch the entire thing in a day. Again, I definitely recommend doing so. :D
why cant i live in the unknown and be a forager for my village, carry an oil lantern and basket with me and wear a thick red cloak, and make sure i get home before sundown :(
