After seeing shark tale on the projector I kinda wanna see a video on that! 😂 I remember that being a weird game with each level being a different style of gameplay
I personally see it as underappreciated because the hype over it seemed to die out pretty quickly. People don't seem to talk about it much but I see it as one of DreamWorks' better films post-Shrek.
To be honest with you..... I'd prefer they just hand me a Raw potato in a ziplock bag. Who the Hell needs the salt anyways?.... Over the Hedge on PS2 is a pretty decent hack n slash game for children..... Though the DS version is a bit better (N64 graphics with stealth and platforming.... With the ultimate gimmick..... The DS mic is ALWAYS ON so don't make a sound in REAL LIFE or else the enemies will hunt you down). I remember always going back to this Over The Hedge PS2 game, just for the golf cart mini game.... Something to do with friends. Didn't own too many multiplayer games on PS2 back then. Anyways, great review as always.
Thank you! Yeah, I used to play this now and again as a kid but it never really grabbed me like some of the other movie games. It's not bad but I never found it exceptional either, just 'fine'. I'm actually surprised I had so much to say about it.
So switching the weapons in this game does not matter if they was going to add that they should have put a good use for that feature like if the weapons break or another weapon could be stronger than the one that you have since they're all sturdy in their all got the same strength it doesn't make no sense that have that featureso essentially you can run around with the same weapon for the whole game kind of strange they will put that in
Also the PSP version of Ratatouille was a sequel just like this game and also some movie games take place before or after the movie that is weird but ok
I love this film! I think another underrated dreamworks movie and video game is the ant bully 😀 the open world exploration was really impressive for the generation 👏
The Ant Bully isn't DreamWorks, and I've never seen it, but the game has been recommended a few times. I also think Over the Hedge is one of DreamWorks' most underrated movies.
@@idonthaveanose really it isn't 😬 all this time i thought it was dreamworks 😅 is it a blue-sky movie? And your right i miss the old dreamworks before they turned into the people they were competing against
Erm... I forget the production company but I think Warner Bros distributed it? Old DreamWorks was great. I miss the old 2D stuff. DreamWorks used to be more edgy.
@@idonthaveanose the sounds about right! 🤔 but the video game was impressive 👏 and yeah i miss 2D animation in general, and back when dreamworks had a story to tell and make you feel, spirit stallion is one of the greatest
Okay, that's REALLY weird because I literally just picked my Spirit DVD out to look at the case. 😂 My favourite DreamWorks movie is The Prince of Egypt.
I absolutely love the film which is very underrated. I loved renting this game from the local movie rental as a kid. I made it to the skith house for aure and loved the circus but never beat the game. I recently found out that it's backwards compatibile on xbox 360 so I'm probably gonna get it for my collection.
Hey. I've seen a few of your videos and was wondering if you'd like to do a collaboration for a review video. I've done videos on games that you have also reviewed before like Over the Hedge, Madagascar, and Chicken Little, if you want to check those out beforehand.
Hi! I've stumbled across your channel once before, I'm sure. I'm curious- would you be able to please inbox my i don't have a nose page on fb or message me on Twitter if possible? 🙂
I played this a bit at a testing kiosk (remember those?) in a toy shop. Kind of miss those. I remember liking the *Over the Hedge* film (my dad still does), but I remember this era of license games (this, Open Season, etc.) was when things started going downhill.
Oh wow, that sounds so retro. Yes, movie games did seem to decline in quality around that time imo. There are one or two latter day PS2 movie games that do stick out to me as memorable though.
@@idonthaveanose I played Ratatouille a little. Again, testing kiosk. Had I seen the film first, I might have bought it, but I didn't bother because I was generally preoccupied with Marvel Ultimate Alliance. A good game worth looking into if have the time.
i don't have a nose reviews It seems as though in this particular decade, practically every family or teen movie, mainly animated, action or fantasy, has had a video game tie-in to make money and promote the film. Even some that don’t seem to work as a video game. Some movie tie-in games work, some don’t. The ones from the 90s are better, in my opinion.
I would agree mostly, though there are exceptions. It's why movie games are often disregarded as being cheap and tacky but there are some seriously underrated ones around.
i don't have a nose reviews Yes. Like A Bug’s Life, Or Toy Story 2. Even Lost World Jurassic Park on PS1 had some amazing visuals and graphics for its time, but lacked a save feature, but I love it anyway, as I am into dinosaurs. Still hold that game near and dear to me.
Oyyyyy over the hedge 2 is rumerd 2 bi release some time in 2020 movie and a game 2 of it by dis game company og outright games and u ned 2 game ice age scrat's nutty adventure one ps4 🤪
